Arrival Story:
I went to the Animal Rescue League to volunteer and ended up getting a 7 month old puppy instead. He was a few days away from being put down. He had 2 previous owners, the original and then the bad people who had abused him to the point of where he was afraid of everything. He was so adorable as he sat on his hind legs while pawing the air with his front paws. I took one look at him and said he's mine. The workers at the ARL tried to direct me to other dogs at the shelter but I wouldn't have any part of it, I wanted him.
Bio:
Two days later I took home a very frightened little dog. We bonded very quickly and soon I became known as his "me". It was just the two of us for a very long time. He always wanted to come with his me, my mother was known as mom to him. Dating for me was very hard buddy hated all men, especially those with beards. He disliked hockey sticks, brooms, glass bottles, men in baseball caps and feet, especially feet. I gather he had been kicked several times in his young little life.
He grew to trust me and my mother and eventually the one man that has been in my life for 8 years. Buddy left us for the Rainbow Bridge on July 31, 2006
