Blake Blake Blake..............after 3 months he is inside

Finally after months of trying creative ways to get him inside, doggie sedative that was mailed up from TN worked. 2 pills chopped in his food and patience, following him, mom talking to him. A collar on, attached to his chain leash....Yeah!

Now I am sharing my doggie bed, my toys....and cannot stop licking him.

I love all of Dogster and Catster.

Hmmmmmmmmmm I have a new paw brother Blake

He just does not want to stay in the house....he chewed his leash and ran off....sneaks in for food and for quick naps...because of this I spend my days in the bedroom. Not that I mind sleeping on the big bed all day...but I used to have choices.

Life is so great.

Finally it is warm here, and instead of just chasing my ball I am so so loving visiting the place where the Grandma's and Grandpa' pet me....and oh this swimming thing...I love it, I get soo very tired. I went to bed very early last night and slept in until noon...Mom let me, so we had an yummie omlet instead of our ususal French Toast.

My First Anniversary

No body can believe that Mom and I have only been together for 1 year.....I don't remember what life was like before Mom....I had a family, Renee saved me, now Mom and I help Renee. We visit houses and people, and Mom takes pictures of them with me.....and I always go back to the big bed, my bowl, my water bubbler and Kong Footballs.

We moved, I am happier here. I don't have to stay in a Dog Room. I have the choice of beds....and Mom always comes home, I get to play. I have 2 new people friends.

Today we did our 4th visit to a place where old people live, I don't have a Grandma anymore. I only got to meet her a couple of times.. only once did she touch my head and smile at me.

I've had a good busy day.........yawn yawn. It is only 6:30 but I want to go to bed. I know there is a yummie peanut butter pie, Mom made special....but I cannot keep my eyes open.

My third official Swim

This is very exciting for me....most labs and lab mixes learn young. Here I am 4 going to be 5 years old and I just figure it out.....Tomorrow we do our First lesson for the Delta Society Pet Partners Training.

If for Renee had not come for me, I would have gone to the bridge at the age of 3. My first family was moving, so they left me at a Kill Shelter, where as a black fur dog I was on a short list for euthanasia. Instead Renee saved me, I was passed over of by a lot of people, sent by transport to a temporary foster because someone wanted me….but they would not allow for a home visit. So there I was, in a new place and no for ever mom. I was labeled not good with cats, not good with other dogs. All I needed was a chance. Then Mom found me on Petfinder. I went to my home visit and stayed. I have proven that I love the company of other dogs, I am cat friendly…and really really love the snow. I am on a waiting list to become a therapy dog. Mom and I do home visits in Massachusetts and New Hamphsire. That means we make sure that the prospective new homes understand that us rescue and pound dogs and cats need a second chance…..but is Fur Life.

We are starting to learn how to put cool pictures up

One of the doggie in the Plant Hollywood Group told us about a site that would help us make pictures with my head on different bodies and have hats on....so we are starting to learn........The kids in the pics are my new friends Lilly and Andrew. Lilly is just visiting.

I have been VERY VERY good this year! I give my new mom lots of love, don't chew on anything I am not supposed to.

1. I want a Doggie Water Bubbler so my water bowl will stop being empty

2. I would like new tennis ball, I lost my last one in the snow

3. I want a new kong foot ball, my other 4 are looking pretty ugly

4. I new soft blanket and comforter......I shreded my first two...maybe I will be nice to the next 2.
