Likes:
Chloe is a couch potato, she loves to nap. Her favorite things are to be brushed and to go swimming!

Pet-Peeves:
Chloe hated when we left the house and didn't take her too. But her biggest pet peeve was fireworks, when she could still hear them.

Favorite Toy:
Any toy that the other dogs have is her "favorite."

Favorite Food:
She loves carrots and pizza.

Favorite Walk:
She loves to take walks where there are lots of people to visit.

Best Tricks:
She doesn't have too many tricks, but she can sit and stay and shake hands.

Arrival Story:
Chloe was about 2 years old when she came to live with us. Her family couldn't keep her anymore because of "allergies." they had another golden ret. that they did keep though, so I guess two was just too many for them. But their loss was our gain, she is a very sweet girl, and was Mojo's best friend for just about 10 years. Chloe has missed her sister Mojo a lot since May 2007, since they were always together.

Bio:
After watching Chloe's health rapidly decline due to cancer, we made the difficult choice to let her go. We will miss you always, but hope you are happy with Mojo. September 22, 1995 - May 24, 2010

Saying good-bye

Thank you so much for all your support during this difficult time. You all reached out to us, and made a sad time a little easier for us.

Chloe was such a sweet, loving girl. There wasn't a mean bone in that dog's body. She was the sort of dog who never complained, who never got cranky. She was just a joy to be around.

We thought we would have more time with her. But this last week was so hard on her. She couldn't stand without help. When she walked she stumbled and fell after only a few steps. And she was beginning to have trouble breathing. We realized it was time to let her go. One blessing is that we had her in our lives for 12 1/2 years. (we adopted her when she was 2 yrs) Another is that until this month, she had never suffered any major illness in her life.

So we took her to McDonalds and bought her a Happy Meal of her very own. Then we took her to the Vet's and gave her some chocolate, a forbidden treat, to make her parting sweet and peaceful.

I adopted Chloe when we had our first dog, Mojo. They were inseparable. Chloe loved Mojo and was lost for a long time after Mojo passed away. So I hope they are now together once again.

Mom and Kia are sad...

I haven't been feeling well lately. I get tired so easily and walking is hard to do now. Mom took me to the veterinarian last week and something the vet said made mom very sad. Something about cancer and about just 3 weeks left...
