Likes:
Perfecting the art of smiling & being a DORK. He's big on hanging his tongue out and smiling big cheesy smiles at whoever catches his eye. Favorite past times: Bouncing a ball for himself, leaning against a friend's leg, teasing his girlfriends into play.

Pet-Peeves:
Waiting to go home!

Favorite Toy:
He's a flirt pole junky. Stuffed kong balls are next on his list of favs.

Favorite Food:
"You mean I get to pick?!..... Everything!"

Favorite Walk:
Around and around the shelter exercise yard, where he gets to romp, zoom, bounce and collapse.

Best Tricks:
Peter knows how to sit very still and wait for the cue to chase after his flirt pole. He's a pro.

Arrival Story:
Our Melon Head friend found himself a stray and then a resident at the Martinez Animal Shelter. He was smelly and skin & bones! but a warm bath and some TLC fixed him right up. He's since been absorbed into BAD RAP's adoption program and he lives at Pit Bull Hall. He's a tender heart and a comedian rolled up in a teddy bear body. More than just a funny face, Peter gets training every day and lots of friendship from the Pit Bull Hall Team. But he will very much enjoy getting a real home soon where he can be get the full time love he deserves.

Bio:
Peter is a bit too bouncy for young kids (can you say 'Bowling for toddlers?') ... but he would love to live with older children. A female housemate dog would be his heaven on earth, especially if she likes bouncing as much as he does. No kitties, though. Although it looks like Peter is huge in his photos, it's actually just his big fat head giving the impression. His body is regular sized for a male pit bull. But O!...that head. What are you gonna do? Dogs that look like muppets deserve to be adored.
