Likes:
Luke loves his obedience class, stealing a nice cozy spot in any family members bed, back scratches, belly rubs and his most favorite thing is to run along side of the kids when they're riding their bikes.

Pet-Peeves:
Squeaky toys, spray bottles and pretty much anything that makes noise. He hates the vacuum and knows how to open the bedroom doors, to hide from that monsterous beast.

Favorite Toy:
Not interested in toys, but enjoys playing with other dogs..especially chase!

Favorite Food:
He loves greenies, or any treat with cheese in it.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere is fine with him! Running is fun too.

Best Tricks:
He can sit and lay with hand signal commands, shake paws and crawl. Luke will run to the door if we say "wanna go outside?".

Arrival Story:
He was our first foster dog for a local rescue. He was scheduled to be euthanized on 11/18/06. I picked him up just hours before his fate at the shelter, and my heart hurt for him. I saved a beautiful dog with scars on his face and a broken spirit. He wouldn't raise his head for almost a month and never wagged his tail. He's slowly forgeting about his past, and now his tail is always wagging. We love this boy dearly and can't imagine life without our Lukey boy! He's the best dog in the whole world.

Bio:
Luke shares equal amounts of German Shepherd and Chow traits. He's very intelligent, a fast learner and has his spot in front of the window where he watches for people walking by. Luke can be a tiny bit stubborn sometimes, it's the Chow in him, he just can't help it. :)
