Quick Bio:

Likes:
I love to have belly rubs and play with my sisters. Sometimes I try to play with the cats, but they don't seem to like me.

Pet-Peeves:
I am a lover, not a hater! Actually, I don't like the vacuum or baths.

Favorite Toy:
I like to chew my bully sticks, pig ears, and pig twists. Sometimes I try to bury them in the yard!

Favorite Food:
I'm on a raw diet! ME LOVES IT! Yum, yum!

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere with my family--can we go now, please?

Best Tricks:
I'm not big on tricks, but I do have to sit and stay for my food and to go outside.

Arrival Story:
My mom and dad were going to "foster" me... whatever that is! I remember I went to one interview with a family. They had a bunch of kids and lived in the ghetto. When we got in the car, my mommy said "he's staying with us." I just know I love my home and my family. My parents say I'm a good boy! My "slave name" at the animal shelter was Red because of my purty red coat.

Bio:
Even though I like to "mark" outside, I'm a perfect boy inside. My parents didn't even have to house-train me. Everyone should adopt an adult dog from a shelter. We're the best!

Forums Motto:
I may be short, but I have a big heart!

My Crazy Family

My mom and dad are insane... We have five foster-siblings right now. That is the same amount of permanent fur babies who live at my house. Yikes! Rescued animals make the best pets because they get to be house-trained and live with humans and other animals before you adopt. Plus, they get vetted. Are you interested in a new family member? If so, just look at the adoptable critters on my page. Woof!

Beyond the Kennel Door

As a pup I dreamed and wondered
What life would hold in store.
For me, I thought, there's something great!
Beyond that kennel door.
Out there are needy people
And I have much to give;
Love, and wit, and gentleness
To help them learn to live.

I'd be someone's protector,
Keep little ones from harm,
Or guide an old man's weary steps,
Or help to run a farm.
I'd run and bark and jump and play
With friends along a sandy shore,
I'd roll in meadows thick and green
That lie beyond that kennel door.

I'd lay there waiting -- longing--
As the days and years went by.
My owner kept me fed and brushed,
But inside, he let me die.
I do not think of greatness now,
I'm old and filled with pain.
My owner has some ribbons,
But I have lived in vain.

I cannot think what could have been,
My dreams are filled with hope no more.
Just floor and walls and broken heart
BEHIND THIS KENNEL DOOR!!!
