Arrival Story:
i was always fascinated with siberian husky since i was a little girl. once we moved to floriday, i always spent some times playing with our neighbour dog, blondie, a yellow lab. blondie's owner got her from orlando spca and one day her mommy decided to go back there and adopted another dog. mary, blondie's owner, knowing about my desire to own a siberian husky called that day and said that there was a husky up for adoption at the spca. my husband and i drove to the humane society right away to check on this dog. she was really shy at first but always came once called. she knew most of the basic command and how to shake hand. once she offered her other paw for me to shake,i just knew that skyy is the one for me and the rest is history. skyy is now a wonderful, people loving, easy going 55lb furball and we love her very much.
Bio:
skyy is part of spca pet visitation program. she also won numerous first places for obedience and tricks. she is the best tricks champion at the 8th annual tampabay siberian husky olympic, first place for 2003 best working dog and best tricks at orlando annual pet fair, first place for 2004 seaworld doggie dash (a running race for dog and dog's owner), first place for best tricks at sarasota pet mania day at g-wiz, and first place for 2004 Orlando Science Center Pet Fair trick contest.
