Arrival Story:
When she was about eight weeks old, Abby was found behind an air conditioner outside her grandma's old home.

Bio:
When I was a puppy, Grandma P. found me behind her air conditioner unit. She thought I was stuck, so she called Mommy. Mommy came and realized that I wasn't stuck, I was just hiding. I was so scared! I had been running around for a long time. My fur was bald in spots, and I had really bad fleas. I was also really hungry! Mommy fell in love with me and called Daddy at work and told him what happened. Daddy loves dogs so he was very happy I came along, too! Once I started eating, my fur started coming in, and I started looking better and better. Mommy and Daddy are always telling me how beautiful I am! When I was about two and a half, Mommy and Daddy adopted my brother Jake. We love each other most of the time. He and I love to play and "wrestle." I love to fetch things and I could play for hours and hours. No one can believe that I am almost ten years old! I look very young for my age. I am also extremely smart, as Mommy and Daddy are always saying. It must be the German Shepherd in me!
