around the hood, our farm and chasing his welsh ponies around the round pen and out thru the field

say's woo-woo and ma-ma, sits, shakes (either hand), lays down, gets newspaper, chase dogs off yard, can catch any ball no matter how high, herding ponies into stalls or out of fields for mom

Arrival Story:
When a teenager, my daughter's dog Bleu, ( aussie/blue healer) was hit and killed on the road by our home (we live in the country) and she decided not to get another dog right away...but then she couldn't eat or sleep for days after losing Bleu, so we talked her into just looking at the dogs at caps (citizens for animal protection). they were closed ...but we sat outside waiting for them to open the doors. one of the volunteers came outside and we told him we were just looking ......and that someone had killed our dog.........it was only days after xmas and most the dogs were already adopted :-)....but then he pushed this gorgeous puppy up to the window from the inside.....and we all started to cry...he was definitely the one! he is the sweetest, smartest dog ever and we love him!!! he is our protector...and he loves his family and he loves his ponies! he rules at our house...and he never ever does anything wrong! rescue dogs are definitely the best!

Bio:
there was a sister in the cage with him at caps in houston...the sign on the cage reading simon & simone....i think i once saw her picture posted on the caps website...she and cowboy are just like twins......would love to find out about her! cowboy loves his country home!!!!!!!!!! He was raised by our Ancient old Yorkshire terrier, Tucker, who was to say the least ...a bit on the grouchy side....so Cowboy doesn't really know how to "play" with other dogs....people and ponies are his gig!
