Arrival Story:
Before I moved to where we live now I got broken into, so when I moved I really wanted to get a dog, my boyfriend wasn't too keen on the idea having never had a pet before but I talked him round.
We then saw an ad in ad trader dog free to good home, so I phoned up and we went to see Bailey, she was a bit odd looking as her hair was very coarse then and she was jumping about everywhere but I really wanted her because I fell in love with her there and then and I knew that she was the dog for me and that we could all be happy together and of course I was right. Bailey is now a happy, heathly dog with the best personality , but it was a bit of struggle getting her there as I'm sure she has been mistreated in the past, I also suspect that she may have been a stray for awhile, but that's all over for her now. One of the best about having Bailey is seeing her and my boyfriend together now because although he'd never admit I know he loves her and she adores him, so at least this is one mistreated dog who has a happy ending.
Bio:
Bailey got her name before I got her, I watched a programme on tv with a dog called Bailey. I liked it so much I wanted to call my dog it so I did.
Bailey is a wonderful dog who loves everything and everyone she is always happy and friendly and whenever we go out she likes to go and see other people and other dogs. Every one we met comments on how friendly she is and how lovely she looks as she has a healthy coat now, which she didn't have when we got her. Bailey is always happy her tail never stops wagging and she always pleased to see me and she loves having a stroke and a cuddle, she also loves playing. Bailey can be really silly sometimes and she's very funny she makes me laugh so much. Bailey is also a very clever dog and she learns things very quickly and once she learns them she remembers them and does them most of the time. Bailey is my friend and I wouldn't change her for anything.

Bailey what can I say to you that I haven't said a thousand times, already I'm sure you know after all our years together how much you mean to me, but I guess I can remind you one more time.
Bailey I just love you so much, I love the way you are so friendly to everyone you see (be it person, dog or something else) and always go over with you tail wagging, I love the fact that nothing gets you down and you are always happy and smiling no matter where you are or what you or doing, I love that you are not afraid of anything despite everything you've been through, I love that you can be so clever one minute and daft as a brush the next you always bring a smile to my face, I love that you are so good most of the time but throw in some naughtiness every now and then, I love that you are always happy to see me, I love that you adore your Dad so much (even if I am a little jealous sometimes), I love that you like playing games and that you never seem to get bored of them, I love all the little things you do every day, I love that you have so much spirit and that nothing has broken it and last but not least I love you because you love me. Below is a poem I wrote just for you my friend Bailey.
This is my dog Bailey
Not a man but a lady
She's so happy and bright
Loving me with all her might
A real life long friend
Loving and loyal to the end
She means so much to me
A life without her I just can't see
