Boys.....

So I haven't been able to write for a while now....Abby has been too busy lately to help me. The boys here...speaking of Shorty and Elvis....were for a while, fighting pretty badly. Elvis just turned two in October and he decided it was time to start moving up the ladder in the pecking order. Well, since I am the matriarch of this pack and, if I do say so myself, One Tuff Mama, he won't even try to intimidate me. He did however try to intimidate Shorty. That got him into some trouble. He had about 8 puncture wounds, 4 on each of his front legs. They weren't too bad but he did have to have a staple put into one. So Abby had to start figuring out ways to get them to stop fighting. She has been watching the Dog Whisperer. Cesar is such a sweet calm person. So anyways, Abby has been asserting herself in a calm manner to us and proved that She is actually the Leader....not me...but Im second in line. Well, the boys now know that she won't tolerate any more fighting from them and they have behaved. They still get a little tense once in a while but no more fighting.
Abbys mom also gave her something to put into our water dish....I heard her call it a Bach Remedy. I guess its all natural plants and herbs that are good for us. I don't taste anything different though and the boys are almost back to playing and romping together. So maybe there is something to it.

We have been going to the dogs park lately too. That has been so much fun. Oh and in December, we went to the Snow and cut some trees for the house for Christmas. We got a couple of really fun squeeky toys. One for each of us, but we all share them. The snow was Soooooo fun though. I love it. Elvis wasn't listening very well though so he had to wear his E-Collar. He doesnt know that the collar is what zapped him but, He listened everytime after that! he doesnt have to wear it very often. Just when there is a possiblity of him running off and not coming back when he is called. He is still learning and Abby says that the E-Collar is just a tool for limited use in his training. I sure am glad I never had to use one of those though.

I keep hearing Abby talking to Justin about moving in with him and Max. I met Max a while back...he was weird. He is a CAT. They are worried about Elvis meeting him. They don't want Elvis to chase him.
I kind of wanted to chase him but I know I would get into trouble. Especially since it was Inside the house. He didnt run either. He seemed cautious but not really afraid of me. I hope it works out ok if we do move in with them.

Well, Abby says I am writing a novel so it is time to quit.

Till next time.
