"Hoola loves to talk and talk back! If I tell her "no" sometimes she'll tell me all kinds of something I can't understand. She says Hello pretty good though."
Likes: Playing and walks (more like a jog)
Pet-Peeves: Being told she can't play with me when she really wants me to play
Favorite Toy: She loved her scooby doo stuffy, now she's a kong and rope girl.
Favorite Food: Boiled Organic Free Range Chicken
Favorite Walk: AT NWMSU
Best Tricks: jumping and catching and knocking the little dog over
Arrival Story: She was left in our back yard on Friday the 13th at 1am 2007. Someone may have thought she was ours, we had a Dane Mix. But as bad as she looked, malnourished and dirty...I was embaressed that someone might have thought I'd treat an animal like that. Her owner found us three weeks later and gave us her AKC papers, that were never filed, but have been by us. It wasn't cheap.. because they were three years late! to file the registration papers.
Bio: She is now fixed and vaccinated and microchipped. She's happy and healthy. However...she is dog aggressive with new dogs and large females. She lives well with four dogs here, sometimes five others. But she can not be trusted with large females at all. She's not a great damager (like the Pit can be)...but she will scare the crap out of another dog and it's owner when she takes a dog down and holds it there! We'd like to see her on a farm where she can live out her last few years (she'll be five this winter)...without being tormented by dogs walking by and without the risk she'll get loose in town and get herself killed! She's good with people. Has never attempted to bite, seems to even like kids but is not around them much anymore. She's a great watch dog...no one will enter her space.

Hey everyone. Hope all my friends had a good Holiday break.
I'm doing great down here in Louisiana. I got to go play in the Ocean recently and I wrestled with sea weed. That was fun! We have babies now at the Farm and I go on early morning checks with Larry. We make sure all the babies are warm and safe. I like one little one in particular. When it runs around it's pen I pace it on the outside. I'm just interacting with it, I mean no harm! We got a new K-9 baby on the Farm too. A little cattle dog that has a coat like mine, blue meral. It's a Mini Hoola :) Larry ratted me out, told that I like to wake him up in the middle of the night to go pee. I only do it have some one on one time...and it's so peaceful on the Farm in the middle of the night. Ok well I better get back to watching over the place...later.
Love HoolaLou.
I live in Louisiana now. I'm a Missourian from Nebraska, living with Kentucky folks, in Louisiana. I live at Summer Hill Farm, with horses, not dogs now :) Hope my brother Morocco is getting along well wo me. I got to go on a road trip to Kentucky after I moved to Louisiana. We stayed in motels and I got my own bed. I love all this new fun stuff I get to do. Never alone, never left out of family stuff. I am really really HOME :) Good luck to all the doggies and kitties that are still hoping for a place to rest their hearts...it feels really good to do that.
I'm sooo nervous and happy :) I'm going to be adopted by a man in Louisiana. He lives on a Ranch....my first Country Home!!!! I have never never never ever had freedom! I'm talking real choices about where I lay down and where I run to. And RUN, he has lots and lots of fensed land...OMG! :) I hope he takes over my page so everyone will get to see me in my new home. I take the long road trip this Saturday. Maizy is going with me to help me adjust half way there. After that it's my next big adventure in life on my own again to make a new family for myself. Heck I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I was allowed to go in a house and I had my own bed!...now I'll have my own ranch. I hope I'm a good girl. I need to settle down and live out my big girl days as a queen with a kind heart and good mind. no more fighting...unless it makes perfect sence. I hope Gio JOJO finds a good home too. I will miss my little brothers and sisters. Love Hoola " The Good Queen of Summer Hill Farm".
