Sport mesmerized everyone he came in contact with--he thought he could change the world and make a friend out of anyone! He taught us so much.

Arrival Story:
Sport was a champion show dog that needed a retirement home where he would be spoiled rotten and given every luxury he deserved. We enjoyed every day of the 5 1/2 years we had him. He passed way too early at age 9 1/2 due to complications after a spleenectomy. We were so lucky to have him.

Bio:
Our beloved Sport traveled all over North America with us and his fellow fursiblings, Lolly, Spike, Snowy, Smitty (atb) in our motorhome. He was on calendars, in catalogs, in magazines, won many contests and was endeared by everyone who ever met him. He truly was an Am-Basset-ter and everything I ever wanted in a Basset. He was a very special hound. I'll never forget the day he won BOS in Veteran Sweepstakes at the Basset National.
