Dukie's Diary!

I don't want to be left out!

I know Puppy told everyone already but we are doing the Walk for the Animals to raise money for the Humane Society of Berks County. That is where I was when my Mom and Dad found me and took me home to live with them and Puppy. They give Dogs(and Cats, which I like to bark at and maybe chase if Mom would let me!) a second chance to get a good home. Mom is taking me along to the walk. I think I heard her tell someone on the phone that she is going to enter me in the costume contest. Oh no! Well if she does I sure hope we win a prize of treats or ice cream at least! She put my Dogster Badge on her donation site! That's my Mom! I hear she is nicer to Dogs than she is to people! Ha Ha! You can check out our site at:

My sister woke me up!

I was taking a nap and thinking about chickens running around the yard! In my dream I was chasing them and then my sister nudged me to tell me that it is my turn to write in my diary. Grrr! I hate when she wakes me. I like my sleep. We already ran at the bungalow and had chicken so I am quite happy to take a relaxing nap! Puppy thinks I should write about our birthday! Happy birthday to me. I am 5 today. Unlike my sister, I don't need to spread it to the world. I am the Duke! I am used to getting favors and being treated like the royalty that I am. I don't need a birthday to prove it. (Although I did enjoy it) Ice cream is later when dad gets home from work, so if nobody minds, I am off to resume my nap until such time as I hear my dad come in the door! Ho Hum--snooooore!!!!!!

Knuckles

Knuckles is Puppys first love. He was back to visit today! We haven't seen him since he moved to South Carolina in September. He looked a little skinny. Maybe cause he wasn't around to get treats from my Mom like he always did before he moved. Knuckles is the dog in the picture with me and puppy. We had a great time playing and chasing each other around the yard. I think we will all sleep good tonight! Mom was at work so she didn't get to see him. She is sad about that. My mom gives good butt rubs and Knuckles was always first to line up for one! Maybe we will get to see him again tomorrow.
