Arrival Story:
One August (2006) morning, I was headed to work (I work at a vet clinic). I went a back way that I don't normally go. When I came to the stop sign, I saw this extremely thin black puppy waiting by the side of the road. He came up to my car looking for a handout. I noticed one of his ears was almost torn off and was very infected. I couldn't leave him in that condition, so I lured him into my car with my breakfast toast and took him to work with me. We weren't sure how severe his ear was damaged and thought it could possibly take several surgeries to repair it. We cleaned him up and dewormed him and started him on antibiotics and pain control. Monday, he had his first and thankfully only surgery. The doctor was able to save the ear for cosmetic purposes, but it is doubtful he has hearing in that one ear. You wouldn't know it, though if you didn't know his story.

Bio:
Vinnie is about a year and a half old now. He is an active boy but also loves to just lay around with his people and watch tv or whatever. He is neutered, housebroken, crate trained, and does well with the other dogs, cats, and goats in the household. Vinnie is looking for his forever home.
