Arrival Story:
Sapphie was left with her sister and a few boys in the nighttime dropbox of a highkill shelter in West Virginia. Sapphie was called Tikki and she and her sister Skye went to a rescue group outside Baltimore. Here she lived with other dogs and cats as well as children. I found her listed on Petfinder and my application was approved. I got the call, panicked like a first time parent with a broken bag of water, and drove 3 hours to pick her up. She was so sweet and precious I knew I had to take her! We hurried into the car as a big storm hit but Sapph snuggled up in the back and we became family.
