Yes I love summer. I had a summer haircut and at first it was cold and I was shivering but then the weather got so hot and I was glad to be nearly nekked! I don't get mats or knots in my fur and I dry so much faster!
I love to swim and I love to go for walks with Oakley and Sam.
We are going on the Paws for a Cause walk this weekend to help raise money for our local shelter. They need the money for doggies to have operations and stuff.
I hope we raise lots and lots of bones!
I am waiting for the cat to wake up so i can play with her for a while then I will have a rest and play some more! Summer is so much fun!

My new friend is a labradoodle named Oakley and he lives across the street from me. We go for fun walks together in the morning and we get to play in an off leash park for a while then we walk home again! Right now he is the same or a bit bigger than me which is really nice.
He is so goofy because he is only 4 months old and still is all feet and legs. he crashes into things all the time! He kisses me and chases me and I just love the little monkey.Sadly he is moving away at the end of the month and we won't see each other as much then.
I wish he could stay here and be my friend forever. I love him.

I woke up as usual and kissed my Mom "Good Morning". She seems to always laugh and cover her face up with the sheets when I do that!
Then I went outside to visit the garden. (you know)
After that I came back in and had some tea with my Dad while he got ready for work.
Then I lay down on his pillow so I could look at Mom and wait for her eyes to open. I am only inches away from her face....hee hee!
Then I pounce and kiss her all over!
She got up and took us for a walk and we saw a raccoon and she had to really hurry past it because Sam and I wanted to go and say hi to it while it was up a tree! Don't know why we couldn't play with it?
We came home again and she let us play with the sprinkler in the garden until we cooled off and now we are resting while she does some house work.
So far so good!

Well I am so happy today because I get to play in my doggie pool for the first time this year!
We have beautiful sunny and hot weather suddenly and Mom got the patio furniture all washed off and put the pool out and let me and Sam H play with the hose sprayer while she put some water in it!
We have lots of fun because the pool has penguins on the bottom and we try and try to dig them off the bottom!
I really like to try to catch the water in my mouth as it comes out of the hose!
We have a long weekend to play and enjoy it! And the best part is that Mom is home with us and doesn't have to go to work!
I love this! I am exhausted!

Yes it is my birthday and I am one year old! Right now my fur sibling Sam H and I are running around the garden because it is also the first day of Spring and we are so happy it is a nice day!
Today I am going to the pet store and I can pick out anything I want! Sam wants me to get bully sticks but they are pretty stinky! I may choose a new squishee because my others have been loved to bits and they don't squeek anymore!
I am going to have a small steak for dinner and a little cake too with a candle on it!
It is going to be a great day and I love being one finally!

Life is good. I have a great family and a great bunch of pals on Dogster.
Today I went for a car ride and a walk. It was sunny and everything is nice a nd dry. Mom let the cat outside and me and Sam chased her for a while. She sat on the roof of the shed and laughed at us!
We like to chase each other around and around the trees in the back yard. Sam stops still and the he wooofs and his tail goes like a helicopter. That's our signal to chase!!!
We have so much fun...Then we run in the house for treats and a nap.. We sleep until we are hungry!!
Life is good.

When I went for a walk today, I realized that the air smelled different. The sun was warming up the earth and the trees and bushes are waking up! They are getting little buds and soon they will have pretty leaves again.
The birds are busy and I think the hummingbirds might be back!
I feel good! I love this time of year because this is when I was born! My Woofday is coming up in March and I am soooo excited to finally be one years old.
I am a big girl now and I think I won't grow anymore! My Mom said she used to put me in her jacket when I first came to live with her but now there is no way I can fit in there! BOL!
(I still eat like a horse though!)

I can't wait to get my zealies so I can give them to my pals.
It feels so good to give them and surprise the unsuspecting pups!!!!
I sometimes like to sneak up on a pal and surprise them and sometimes I like to just give them for no reason to someone I don't know but would like to get to know.
I love Dogster and I love the whole idea of making somepups day with a star or rosette!

My auntie is my typist right now!
OMD! My mom and I were out for a walk and we were just returning and we were 2 houses away from ours and IT happened. Mom Slipped and fell on some ice that was on the sidewalk!!!! She let out a yelp and I stopped right away to see what happened! She couldn't talk right away because she was surprised and hurt at the same time! After a minute or so , she was able to get up onto her feet although she was a little shaky. We managed to get home and she is now resting because she hurts all over!!!!
We always clear our sidewalk of snow so the ice doesn't build up and hurt people and animals out for a walk.!!!!!! I fling a muskrat at the people who live in that house that didn't clear the snow away from the sidewalk!
Poor Mom has a scraped up elbow, a very sore wrist, a sore back and a headache!
Please, please clear your snow away so it doesn't hurt anyone!!!!
I hope Mom isn't too banged up!

Carmella made me a really cool pirate picture because I was wondering if I had to have a patch on my eye after the vet removed that dang grass seed from it on Friday!

Well I feel like I have had the stuffing knocked out of me. I am still pretty wonky this morning from the day I spent at the vet yesterday!
They gave me an anesthetic and found a grass seed in my eye! It was a VERY good thing that it was removed because it could have worked itself further into my eye and could have caused blindness or worse. Thank goodness for Dr Stephan!!
He is so handsome and nice... I am a lucky little girl. We still don't know how it happened!?
I am still feeling very tired and wobbly and need to spend the day resting in the Pawspot Pawspital. I 'm sure I will be back up to warp speed in no time.

There is something in my eye! No it's not my paw!
I have a foreign object in my eye and no one know where it came from!!!!
I saw Dr Stephan today and he wants me to get it looked at while I am asleep to see if it is a scratch or a seed!!! How would a seed get in my eye? Good Grief!
I have to see a nice Doctor tomorrow and she will try to fix it for me. I am
a little bit nervous about this......
It is always a bit of a mystery how these things happen isn't it?
Sam (my doggie brother) had a seed up his nose last summer!
Oh well, I will try to get some sleep tonight and hope all goes well tomorrow.
Will I need glasses? Will I have to have an eye patch like a pirate? That might be cool... a girl pirate....mmmm

I went to have my regular visit today at the groomers. She is a really nice lady that does a wonderful job. She said I have a beautiful coat! She also said that no way I am a shih tzu x!!!!!!
She looked at me very carefully and thinks that maybe I have Westie and Eskimo or Cairn and Eskimo but definitely no Shih Tzu.
What am I?
I feel like nobody right now....I am glad I know that my tail belongs to Eskimo's and that is for sure but what about these funny ears and beautiful double coat that doesn't shed?
I am now about 15 inches tall and weigh about 25lbs or so.
If you think you know what I am, can you please tell me? I have more pictures on my page if that helps...Thank you.

I have been thinking very very hard about this and now I think I've got it!!!
Christmas is inside all of us every minute of the day and night. It is a special feeling we share with our families and friends at the end of the year!!! We show our love to them.
We decorate our houses and ourselves to show how happy we are! We share what we have with people and animals that are less fortunate than us.
We show how much we love everyone by giving what we can to make them happy.

Sam is my brother ans he is so sad today. He is actually crying! His friend from the shelter who was adopted into a wonderful home last year and is loving every minute of it is now dying! He has cancer.
I can't talk about it...it is too sad a story. My heart hurts just thinking about this family and their brave doggie.

I don't know what to do to cheer Sam up today. Maybe I can stand on my back legs and do the elf dance?

We had fun today putting out a tree for the chickadees and other little birds for their Christmas. It has popcorn strings and cranberries and pine cones with suet and seeds and stuff. It smelled really yummy and I thought it was for me and Sam but no we can't reach it! Mom hung it in our cherry tree for them!!!
We also are going to take some presents to the local shelter of towels and blankies so our friends there will be all cozy and warm. They are always looking for toys so I will donate some of my Christmas toys to them as well. Maybe I can find a turkey for them!
Sam and I are so lucky that we have a forever home and a nice mom and dad who love us.
We are getting ready for bed now and just wanted to say goodnight to everyone and have a good sleep.

Wow was that ever neat!!! All this nice smelling fluffy white stuff falling down and covering all the grass and dirt!!! The world looked beautiful and I had so much fun zooming around and around for joy!!!!
Sam chased me and then I chased him around and around our garden and we had so much fun - we couldn't stop laughing!!
It snowed and snowed until late last night. Today we went for a long walk and smelled all kinds of fresh smells. I love it!!!!

I managed to NOT tear up the mail, steal my dad's shorts, eat any squeakers, get all muddy in the rain, or jump in the shower with my Mom. What I did do was have fun chasing my rubber toys up and down the stairs in my house and play nicely with Sam. I did managed to get some duct tape stuck to my foot and spent hours trying to get it off. My Mom noticed me doing this and took it off for me. She says it was only a minute or so not hours. I stole the rubber thingy from the door springy thing that makes a cool noise when you twang it. I almost ate it but old eagle eye (mom) saw me and took it away.
I ate and slept and ate and slept and now Sam and I are going to play until we get tired!
What a nice day. I was finally able to give some presents to some of my friends today and I hope to give some more soon. Thank you to all of our friends who gave us lovely presents. We love them! Bonzer, the butterfly is so beautiful! I love the hearts and rainbows. What a nice bunch of pals we have. xxxxxxooooo

My mom decided that I needed to see so I had my first grooming today. My Dad took me and left me there! My Mom was at work today so she had to wait all day to see me and hear how it went!!! I think I look pretty cute but this thing around my neck is bugging me and I am so sleeeepy..zzzzzzzzz.
Mom says: Dad was hopeless at telling me what happend..only said that the nice lady said Tika was rambunctious and good for a first timer. She had 3 mats. That's it...I couldn't get any more info and Tika isn't talking. She is pooped and after I got home she passed out and has been asleep since dinner!
She looks adorable and the advice I got about just a shaping trim was really good advice. She smells lovely and has a cute blue scarf. i can see her eyes!!!
Poor thing is so tired though. It took 2 and a half hours. Worth every penny and I am glad she did well. I will call them tomorrow and see if I can get a bit more info. I took a couple of pictures and will post them soon.

Thank you to my pup pals and new friends for worrying about me and the sqeaker in my tummy. It came out all by itself thank fully! I am not allowed to play with rubber toys anymore because I am so determined to get the squeaker out and eat it. SO now I have turned my attention to junk mail. Does nayone else shred it for their moms and dads? I love the big envelopes that have lots of papers in them so I can tear them into little pieces. My mom tries to get them for recycling before I can run away with them but haha I am too fast for everyone! I even stole a book of hers from the coffee table and tore off the cover before she caught me. It was a book from school so she has to replace it! All this shredding wears me out and yes i think I eat a little bit of it too. I can't wait for Christmas!! It will be my first and my mom is wondering what she will do with the presents!!!! They may not have any wrapping!
I want to say a special thank you to someone called annonymous who sent me a heart!!!! It is so neat to get these presents!!!! I hope mom can get me some zealies to send to my friends and pals.
I started a fan club for all pups named Tika - I have invited as many as I could and so far 6 pals have joined our club! It is great!!! Well i am off to help mom with the vaccuming - she vaccums and I help by barking at it!!!!

Yes I think I ate a squeeker because it is missing from my favorite squeeky toy and my Mom can't find it anywhere. I managed to tear the rubber shoe I love and she didn't see me do that.I don't feel very well today and I don't want to play or run around at all, which my Mom says is very unlike me.
I think she may take me to the vet to get a picture of my tummy. I don't want to eat anything either. Oh dear..... I am not very big and I am a little scared of what is happening in my tummy. Mom keeps looking at me and checking to see if I am ok. I hope I feel better soon because we were going to get my halloween costume today. I am going to be a polar bear and I want to be a bouncy one.

My Mom wants to post some new pictures of me and just when she thinks I am holding still and she clicks the button, I race away in the other direction. I think she will have to wait until i am asleep!!! I am so fast everything is a blur. BOL!
I am looking rather pretty these days and everyone says I am very fluffy.
I may be still growing because my feet seem to have gotten bigger than they used to be. My Dad says they look like polar bear paws whatever they are.
My Dad takes me to work with him some days and I really like that because I can run around and visit all the dogs and bunnies too. I like to play with my brother Sam best of all and he is the best brother a little girl could have. He takes care of me when Mom has to go out for a minute (it always seems like an hour). I hope that I can make some new friends in Dogster too!! We love to check on our friends and see what is happening in the world of dogs.

I am so big now that I have learned some tricks like sit, down and roll over!
I like to help my Mom take the laundry out of the dryer when it is finished .
I take it away and hide it on her. My Dad"s shorts are under the couch. BOL!
I am a big help to my Mom when I help her make the bed with me in it. I am not sure what she is laughing at but it must be good because she laughs a lot.She thinks it is so funny when she takes a shower and I dry her legs for her afterwards. Sometimes they are prickly and taste like soap.
After I had to be spayed (my tummy hurt) I realized that I love my Mom and I don't nip at her hands anymore. She like kisses and cuddles and I love to give them to her.
I am almost 6 months old now. I love Sam. I love Rollover. I eat as much as I want, then Sam finishes whatever I can't. We also eat a nice crucnhy food called Go Natural. It tastes good and it is good for me I guess. I love my DAD.
Life is good...
