Tika went to the bridge on October 1, 2012 after a 5 year battle with thrombocytopenia and kidney failure.
She was a force to be reckoned with and only gave up when her Mom said it was okay to go and she went very gently in her Dad's arms. She tried to stay as long as possible because she didn't want to leave us.
Tika was a beautiful dog and she had a wonderful personality. She was playful, stubborn, very funny and often had us all laughing at her antics.
Her Mom and Dad miss her terribly and so does her fur brother Sam H.
Thank you to all of her pals who have left gifts on her page and sent Mom personal e-mails.
She had many pals and she will be seeing lots of them at the bridge.
I know all the angels will be there with her until she can be with her Mom and Dad again.
Thank you,
Barney

Well I think we kicked the dickens out of the thrombocytopenia this time!
I have been on prednisone since October 2011 and just recently the dogtor said my blood tests are back to normal!
I was a pretty sick little girl for a while there and even my friends didn't know how sick.
I am feeling much better and my Mom and Dad can tell because I am frisky and happy again.
When I am sick I don't want to interact with anyone and I mostly just sleep and want to be left alone.
Mom missed my good morning kisses to wake her up and now she can tell I am feeling better because I am starting to do that again.
I am getting back to my old self and my family is very very greatful.
Thank you for all your prayers and love. It really helps.
Love Tika

It has been four years since we joined Dogster. Many pups have come and gone and we have watched with sadness when they go to the bridge.
Dogster has helped us not to be so shy and helped our Mom make friends because she was very lonely. Her little group is still going with her BFF's.
We have to say that Dogster helped us become friends with pups and their pawrents from all over the world. We think they are better friends than some of our real families!
We love you our Dogster friends.
Happy Fourth of July and Happy Summer to all of you.
