I've been Tagged~~Twice...no Thrice (is that a word? BOL)

My great Dogster pals Maddi, Hunter and Jake PB have Tagged lil’ ol’ me!!!

1. Mom is my favorite…sorry Daddy…I’m just kinda stuck on her.
2. I was a rescue dog…I now have the bestest family ever!
3. I shiver when I’m cold, excited, worried, or just because I like the attention!
4. Dad says I have “Jelly Head” because I have a spot on the top of my head.
5. Mom always lets me lick her breakfast plate…usually it’s got egg, ham & cheese on it…yum, yum!
6. My favorite toy is the deer head that Angel got us last Valentines Day…she’s a sweetie fur sure.
7. Mom made me a new winter coat…it’s pretty red and very warm…I love it!

A beautiful evening trail ride

Ya know, riding horses around here isn't new news at all. Mom rides just about every day 'cause that's what she does for a living. We're always going for lil' jaunts here and there.

But, late yesterday afternoon, about the time all us critters get fed, mom saddles up her horse Colt and dad's horse Whiskey. She rides Colt and leads Whiskey...we take a lil' ride 'bout a 1/2 mile to the other end of our property and back. Then she ties up the horses to the fence at the house.

She goes inside like she's gonna fix us pups our dinner...I'm giving her my bestest "Food Face" look...and nothings happening!!! No dinner...I'm wondering what the deal is anyhow...she's just ignoring me reading stuff on the 'puter!!!

Well, dad finally gets home from work. Then I finally get it figured out...we're going for a trail ride!!! WhoooooHooooo...a real trail ride. We went up the hill behind the house. That's one of my favorite places...there's jack rabbits to chase. We were gone for a long time and didn't get back to the barn til it was dark.

I was really hungry by then and dinner sure was tasty...it was well worth the wait ;>)

Another year at the Pendleton Round Up

Yep...another...my second!!! We had a great time. Now, they still don't let us pups into the rodeo and that's a good thing. Mom says you wouldn't believe the amount of people!!! Lil' me would be trampled!

We take the horse trailer wiff the living quarters in it and it's my job to stand guard and protect. We stay in a nice back yard wiff thick green grass and do BBQ's, and I get to cuddle wiff mom in her chair. There was another rattie there this year too! Her name is Heaven. She's a lil' toy rattie...she packs this big tennis ball wiff her wherever she goes...it's the cutest thing! And, she's 11 years old...she's fast too. I liked her.

So, we stayed 5 days and 4 nights. We all were ready to head back to the ranch by then. It's good to be home wiff Cowboy, Abby and all the horses.

The wedding

WoW...I sure had a big weekend!! My hooman cousin, Leilani, got married in Portland OR...we had to drive 6+ hours to get to my Uncle Darrell's place on Friday. They had a BBQ for us...chicken & burgers...my favorite!!! Mom said I was a very good traveler...slept the whole time...well, what else is there to do?

Then on Saturday, we went shopping. There's a new farm store and of course I get to peruse the pet isle...I picked out a real BIG Bully Stick!

Saturday evening was the wedding...outside in my Uncle Larry's back yard. I was the only doggie there...I got so many ohhhs & awwwws...I guess I'm cute or something ;>) Then the one bad thing happened...we were waiting in the buffet line and my Uncle Darrell stepped back right on top of me!!! I yelped and just about tripped him over!! It's Monday morning now and I'm still limping and holding my paw up...mom says I have to go to the vet this afternoon...gulp...I hope it's gonna be ok...

I can't believe it!!!! I got ANOTHER star from Keeko...wanna know what it said?!?! Huh Huh Huh?!?!?!? OMD...it's soooooo romantic!!!!...*swoons again at the thought*

Ok Ok Ok...it said... "I think I'm in LOVE" WoWWWWWW...I'm such a lucky lil' Rattie gurl!!!!!!

My mom's been in the know on this all along...but I had to tell my dad this morning...well, the first thing he asked is if Keeko was an older dog and he said: "I'm not lettin' my lil' princess out with some old dawg"...that's what he said! BOL

I reassured him that Keeko was just my age and a very respectable pup in the Dogster community. Dad seemed to be ok wiff that...WHEW!

Well, I had to put a pic of my buddy/pal/sweetie Keeko on my page...take a look!!! Isn't he just the cutest...*sigh*

Where's Texas?

It's just not fair!!!

Can you believe that we came in from feeding the horses & stuff tonight...and mom announced that I had to have a BATH!!! Cowboy & Abby didn't have to have baths...but poor lil' me did...*stomps foot* ... *puts a cute lil' pout on her lips* sheesh!

You know...it's not my fault that the snow is finally melting and the perma frost is thawing out and the fields are sloppy wiff mud.

Yeah...I did have mud all the way up my legs, covering my belly, and splattered up onto my back. But, I had to have it in 4x4 paw drive to get through!!!

I still don't see why I was the only pup that had to have a BATH. Could it be that I lay on the couch...or that I sleep on the bed...could that be it? Mom says that I could stay wiff Cowboy & Abby in the back room if I preferred...*sigh* OK...I guess it's only the 3rd bath I've had in the past year since you adopted me...maybe it's not all that bad ;>)

My Very Own Valentine!!!!!!!!!

Guess who sent me a special Valentine gift.......Keeko!!! He's one of my most favorite pals...and, he was my Secret Santa Paws last Christmas too!!!

He said he wished that it was him I was dreaming of instead of Vinny, and then he asked if I'd be his Valentine!

Well of course I said yes! I luv those long, tall Texans with a drawl. ;>) I sent him a cupid rosette with a kiss in it and asked him if he wanted to do the drive through for burgers & fries...I know he likes that from his pics...heeheehee!!!

I wonder if I should keep my pic of me and Vinny's card on my page...It's a pretty cute pic of me...what do you think?

Valentine's

I got my very furst Valentine's Day card...Vinny!!! Thank you...you are so cute! He's a good pal of mine; I know that he's not really boyfuriend material fur me. But, it's so much fun!!!

Me & mom went shopping on the internet today! In the Dog House, we picked Secret Sweethearts. Boy, we picked some pawsome stuff fur our Sweetheart. Me & Cowboy are doing this jointly...I hope he doesn't hog everything we get from our Sweetheart...BOL...I'd have to kick some _ _ _ heeheehee.
