Arrival Story:
As a puppy, Shep was brought home to be a playmate of an 18 month old child, the child was allowed to act out against the pup out of jealously. The mother contacted me to try and find a home that would treat him better and give him what he needed; a loving and caring home. After some training, he was adopted by a family with 4 children (ages 5-7), and they adored him. He came back with the explanation, that the kids 'got him all hyped up with their hyperactivaty'...he stoped obeying commands. He is still with me currently...he is an excellent watch-dog, with out being mean or vicious. He needs more exercise than I can give him as I am disabled with mobility issues (can't be on my feet or walk for any extended periods of time) He is a very friendly, social, wants to get along with pretty much everybody that I've noticed...wants to play with other dogs, and even wants to play with cats(when they let him), gets real exited when he sees kids. Needs a fenced yard and because of his watch-dog abilites...would not be suited for city living or having close neighbors that might complain when he warns of things in the night. He has been fixed and has taken baths.

Bio:
Shep has found a new home that fits his needs. I miss him and am happy for him all at the same time.
