Arrival Story:
We are in the US foreign service, posted in Yerevan, Armenia. One evening we left the Embassy late in the evening, and just outside the Embassy this adorable chubby puppy walked right up to us. He had a friendly face, and let us pick him up and hold him. We said to each other: "let's take him home!" We asked the guard on duty if he belonged to anyone and he said no, so Vito came home with us that night. The funny thing is he was on the sidewalk in front of the Embassy where the line for visas forms; so he got his visa to the U.S.
