Likes:
I love Sage. And basically that's it- Sage and Mommy, that's what I love. Oh, and it's really fun to greeting all the new foster dogs, especially if they wanna play. Of course, even if they don't wanna play, I always eventually get them to play!

Pet-Peeves:
I really hate the rain and that's all it seems to do around here! Umm, and I hate mud and wet grass and the vacuum and Mommy rearranging furniture and anything unexpected. I'm a bit of a baby. Mommy says she coddled me too much as a pup! Naughty Mommy!

Favorite Toy:
Toys? I'm not too into toys. I just really like the other dogs. Sometimes, when I'm playing tug-war, I end up with a toy and I'm like: ahhhh, what do I do now?!?!? That's why I usually let Sage win. Don't tell her.

Favorite Food:
Sage has food allergies and digestive tract issues and so we are all on a STRICT diet. I eat Wellness Simple Duck and Rice dry kibble mixed with Wellness 95% Turkey Grain Free canned formula, hard boiled eggs, and salmon oil. Yummy Yummy!

Favorite Walk:
Walking the 3 miles around Green Lake in Wallingford. No better place to meet new dogs and of course, the local crazies. I also love going with Mommy to Home Depot and MudBay (the local Natural Doggie Food Store).

Best Tricks:
Mommy takes me to some really fun Obedience and Agility classes at an AMAZING dog training facility, Cascade K-9 (www.cascade-k9.com). Check it out! Agility is sooooo fun and it's really helped Mommy build my confidence!

Arrival Story:
Sage and I were a great little team, but there came a time when we were ready for a new addition. At first, Sage was very disturbed. Sharing her Mommy with a stinky little pup was NOT on the Queen's agenda. She worked hard at ignoring Ottis, leaving the room when I showed him attention. Despite their rough start, Sage soon realized having a little brother might not be so bad! She perfected the art of manipulation and stealth domination. Ottis was smitten by Sage from the beginning. No need to convince him the world revolves around The Queen. Sage and Ottis are now the best of friends and do everything together. They often sleep in a tight ball, much to my amusement. Most of all, they love endless wrestling together in the typical Boston way!!

Bio:
Currently Sage, Ottis, and I are co-founding a 501(c)3 Washington State non-profit animal rescue, Motley Zoo Animal Rescue: www.motleyzoo.org. Watch... and help... us grow! People often say to me that they could never do what I do because they would fall too much in love with the dogs to say goodbye. But it is BECAUSE I love these dogs that I say goodbye. They deserve their own home. And these adoptive families deserve their own dog. Love is selfless. Not selfish. Experience the art of loving in its truest form: foster.
