Arrival Story:
Sheba was given to us earlier in the week. We havent had her but 4 days. I was asked did i want the dog. Truth being ..i really didnt want another dog. Later that night, these people showed up in my driveway asking did we want the dog...once again, I said "no, not really, we have too many as is" then they said "but I have her in the trunk of the car" YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE LOOK ON MY FACE!!! I called them a few choice names, and had them pop the trunk to find a half dead dog. I was shocked. NOt only did she seem to be half dead from the carbon monoxide fumes, she is extremely Extremely skinny. Best guess is she weighs maybe 10 pounds. Im not really sure how old she is, young, maybe 6 months. They didnt wont her anymore cause she wouldnt stop whining or howling. The first night here, we kept her in the outside pen, because i do have chihuahuas and didnt know how she would be with them..however, turns out she is ok with them. But the first night she did keep me awake all night with her howling and barking. the next morning when i went out to her, she literally tried climbing the pen to get out, basically screaming. I brought her inside, and she laid down on the kitchen floor. We are working on the house training, and few No No's. But she is precious. We are also working on a better diet, and trying to fatten the poor baby up some!!!! She strives for the attention, loves to curl up in our laps and has adopted my youngest daughter. She sleeps at the foot of her bed. She is a pleasure, and Im glad the Lord brought her to us.
