I had a puppy beagle named Rex at the age of 9. We couldn't keep it in the apt. so we had to give it away. My mom and daddy promised to get me another dog when they bought our first house, which happened about 5 years later, I was 14 years young. After we moved in they said we'd get one after we got a fence, which happend my senior year in high school. I joined the U.S Army and and finally realized my parents wouldn't get me the dog they promised, when I was 19, I got a tatoo of the beagle with a rose stem in his mouth, hearts over his head and his name under his read paw which was Rex. I had the tatoo artist draw it up for me so it was unique. I got married at the tender age of 21 and my husband finaaly got me a dog for our 4th Christmas. I am now the proud owner of a full breed Yorkshire Terrier, named Spoonie Luv Marshall, born in Alexandria, La at the Velvet Touch Kennel on 7 September 2002 , AKC certified and registered in November 02'. I was 25 years young and he will always be my baby. Me and my husband have been married 8 years now and Spooonie is still my only child. Smile
