Survival

vacation

We all went on vacation. I wasn't too happy at first because I had to sit all the way in the back. I wanted to sit in the front with the other kids. (even Derrick the guinea pig got to sit in the front with the kids!) It was a long drive. First, we went to Lubbock, which was an 8 1/2 hour drive. We were there for 3 days to visit my aunt that just started law school at Texas Tech. Then, we went over to Dallas, which was a 5 hour drive to visit my grandma, and we were there for 5 days. Then, we came home which was another 7 hour drive. (it was alot of driving) The best part of the vacation was the play time I got at doggie day camp at Petsmart. I got to run around and play with other dogs. I guess it made up for all the time I spent in the car, and everytime mommy and daddy picked me up they always had a toy or treat for me.

A New Bed

Mommy got me a new bed. I love it!!! She though of this great idea of letting me have a "real" bed because I kept growing out of all the other beds she got me. I have already grown out of two crates and I am not even close to being done, so mommy thought that I should just have a "real" bed. She even petitioned off part of my human sister and brother's playroom so that I would have my own room. I have my bed, my toys, and my food and water. I love having my own room.

Yesterday, I lost my first tooth and mommy found it on the floor in the livingroom so last night she told me that if I put it under my pillow that there would be something there in the morning. This morning I woke up and there was a bone under my pillow. Mommy told me that the tooth fairy brought it to me. Mommy said that usually there is money; but what am I going to do with money? I hope that mommy lets me put all of my teeth under my pillow because I sure did enjoy that bone. Wait, I think I feel another loose tooth.
