ANgel left for the Rainbow Bridge on Oct 30, 2009

ANgel left for the Rainbow bridge on October 30th around 7Pm. SHe left from her Mommies arms after trying mouth to mouth and CPR. She was here one minute, let out a scream and was gone. The outpouring of love is beyond anything I can comprehend. With around 200 emails, calls and cards and still coming. She was only with us 10 1/2 years but left a mark on many hearts. Go with love little girl and stay with you brother Cinemax that Mommy has never gotten over after 10 yrs. You will be remembered by many . You are going to be in a book and people are planting trees in the Amazon in your name. You will be in Mommies Rainbow Bridge Calendar on a special page created by Auntie Lin and Auntie Vicki. Your sister Vandy is creating the book page. We are redoing the Garden Created for CInemax and Mom has so special things in mind to make it yours and his. I ordered your headstone yesterday. It says "ANgel, forever and always, my soul with your dates. Darling ANgel I never knew you effected so many people. COme visit one night and look at all your emails. I feel you near and I hear you have been visiting friends and helping them make decisions.
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY SOUL AS CINEMAX WILL ALWAYS BE MY HEART.

Bark in the Park on Oct.10th

Mom and I raised the most money for the Bark in the Park dog walk to help with building the new Pet Campus. It was a really gloomy day but we had fun. I was entered in the homemade costume class and got second place with a ball gown made by Auntie Yvonne. Got to see lots of old friends and made new ones. My auto immune problem causes me to loose my hair, but Mom has a new protocol and it seems to be working. Next event is Santa Paws Pictures and Olin MIlls for my ball gown pictures.

We attended Bow Wow Brunch

Mom and I attended Bow Wow Brunch on August 8th in Nashville at the Sheraton. Lots of dogs and people. Meet some new people and the
Fashion show was great. Food as always was good and so nice to have all the dogs being able to eat with us.

Not doing much

Mom has been so busy with pet sitting we have not made many personnal appearances. WE are judging a Childrens Pet Show on July 21st, Bow Wow lunch is August 8th so we will be doing a few things this summer. I had my pictures taken with Mom for her 70th birthday. I am 10 so that makes me 70 also so she decided we needed to do it. This is the only year we will be the same age. My auto immune problem is still very evident, but we are going all natural to see if it helps. We have been blessed to meet another email friend, Marsha, and it was a great meeting. Mom is hoping to meet one of her cyber daughters next month. More later

updating ANgel's activiites

Bark in the Park was the end of our appearance season. Mom had my pictures taken for Christmas at Olin Mills, we went to see the Easter Bunny at Petco and I had my picture taken with him. On APril 11th we did our annual appearance at Metro's Tour for life. It was a cold day and we didn't stay as long as usual. Got to see lots of old friends and the local shelter director, Katherine went with us and Metro took her on an awesome tour and explained how they did everything. Emmylou wasn't there this year as she was with her first grandchild.
On Aril 25th Mom took me to Olin Mills for my annual birthday pictures. I will be 10 on April 26th. She said they were awesome and I was a big hit. Our next appearance is May 2nd at Lebanon's Bark in the Park.

Algood Bark in the Park

On Oct 25, 2008 we participated in the annual Bark in the Park. Mom entered us in the first annual dog walk. and she raised the most money thus won lots of prizes especially a GPS system. We were called back in for a second look in homemade costumes, but didn't place. We had a lot of fun at our table. We now belong to the Pickett County Humane Society. We raised money with our donation tickets and had 9 great prizes. Already working on next year. This is the first year Bluette participated and she did great.

2008 Mutt Strutt for Nashville Humane

Saturday the 20th of Septemeber we Did our annual Mutt Strutt to raise money for Nashville Humane, a no kill shelter that helps us a lot. Mom got 5th place for most money raised. Pretty good considering she lives 80 miles away and not in the Nashville area. WE had a ball and our friend Yvonne Tolley designed a new dress for me in wonderful Fall colors. We met a lady that has a Pet Hospice and Mom has become really interested in it. My sister Bluette made her first major public appearance and did great. All in all it was a great day.

Bow Wow Brunch

On July 12th Mom and I attended a Bow Wow Brunch in Nashville. It was put on by Nashville Humane that are a big help helping us place dogs. It was fun and very different. All the dogs ate with their owners (Food was delicious). I was the smallest one there and dressed in my finest. We made many new friends. They had demonstrations on training, nail clipping and doggy massages. Mom says we will probably go back next year. Our next big day is Nashville Humanes Mutt Strutt on Spetember 20th. We attended last year and had such a good time.

Tour for Life at Metro Animal Control 4/19/08

Yesterday Mom, a friend, my sister Sophia and I made our annual appearance at Metro Animal Control. One of the TV crew people wanted to swap me for his little boy,can you imagine. We had a great time meeting new people, spending time with The Judd Impersonators and Wyndi's Southern Cross Boston Rescue people, Moms friend Emmylou Harris and her rescue group. The weather rained us out early afternoon but we had a wonderful time. I kissed Big Dog (someone in a yellow dog outfit) and was a big hit.

My Easter

Well I had a busy Easter. On Staurday I went to Petco for a pet parade and got third, then on to the a nursing home to visit people there. I was all dressed up in my new dress. Mom found someone taking pictures with the Easter Bunny, you guessed it. I had my pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. Mom couldn't pick just one so she got the whole photo shoot on CD. Monday night was Cinemax's 15 birthday so Mom had a Memorial service in his special Garden. Mom got him a waterfall for his birthday. You have to understand he is still every beat of her heart. All of us had a small piece of his Birthday cake. We thought that was so neat.
