A Howloween Trick or Treat?

That is the question i asked myself earlier this evening when a VERY brave cat jumped up on to our window sill earlier and attempted to squeeze his way through the open window! I must admit i'm not expirienced on the whole cat thing, did he have a nasty trick intended or was he here for a nice treat? questions, questions...it was time to investigate! ;)

I approached the window with a very confident stride, there was no way i was letting any kitty think he had one over on me after all this is MY Nannie's house! Missy and Teddy were upstairs thank dog otherwise all what would have been left of Kitty was fur falling in the night air! Once my nose was resting on the window sill the kitty stuck his paw around the window in a vain attempt to get mum to fuss him and she played right into it!! I never knew these kitties were so clever. He was being cautious i could tell, but he never flinched, swiped or hissed at me. We sat in a stare off for about 5 minutes, no one gave way. Mum was telling me what a good boy i was being and fussing the kitty at the same time. And just when i thought this kitty might be staying the night ( the way mum was acting you would of thought it was BOL ) it hopped off the window sill and paced off to wherever he came from!!

I got heaps of praise from mum :D She was very proud of me that i never barked, growled, lunged, put my hackles up or attempted to bite the kitties paw off BOL. She knows i don't have an aggressive bone in my body and tonight proved to her that my calm and gentle nature is apparant in everything i do.

So all in all, i think this kitty gave me a TREAT tonight and i thank him for stopping by to say hi ;)

Ty x

Yes, what a good boy, indeed. See how gentle we can be?! I once found a little birdie learning how to fly. He was hiding in the hedge by the driveway. I sniffed him out. His family was very mad at me squawking and circling overhead. I just sniffed him but mom said he was very scared and wouldn't let me go near him anymore. He spent the night in the hedge. I kept wanting to check on him. We saw him fly away the next day. Good for you birdie! And good for you Tyler and your new kitty friend!

Good Boy! I'm glad you held back! I love the chase. I see "cat" and I lose my mind! Mom yells "NO". I hate no!
