Arrival Story:
There was a little sick Pomeranian in a pet store. She was doing plenty of coughing and sneezing, but I could not let her go. I'd seen other "lost" dogs in pet stores, but Augustine was more than that.
Whether or not she'd survive the illness, I knew she was the first dog in eleven years to form such an undescribable bond with me. She commanded me to take her home, and will be with me until the end, the sweet girl-dog who pulled me in with her good looks and kept me interested with her soft furf and her pomeranian smile. However bad my day might be, there's always Augustine, wagging her tail ever-so-happily with a spark in her big black eyes, and jumping up into my arms. I am glad that she got over her illness, and I got over some of mine, so that we can see one another everyday =)
Bio:
Lady Augustine is about a year and three months old... She is one of the best things that ever happened to me. There was a time when she chewed everything, including my glasses, but has started behaving better now. We've waited her "chewing" phase out.

I got fixed exactly 14 days ago. My mom was worried about me, and I had to be awakened from my sleep very early, at 7am. I was nervous and shaky, knowing that something serious was about to happen, but was able to sleep through half of the 40-minute car ride.
I stayed at the doctor's office until about 5:00 PM. Some of my fur was shaved so it wouldn't get in the way of the procedure. I was also implanted with a microchip and had two baby teeth pulled.
When I arrived at home, my eyes were glazed from the anesthesia. I managed to eat a little bit of chicken and drink a little bit of water, and then I slept. My roommate and dog friend, Sir Tori, tried to lick my wound, but I got angry and snapped. I wanted to be left alone. My mom put me in a crate in order to isolate me, but I wanted to sleep in my usual place: the master bedroom.
My family was worried about me, but as the doctor said, I "passed with flying colors." The day after my surgery, I was up to my usual mischief: stealing socks and hiding them under the bed, stealing paper cups, and jumping around and around.
I'll be ready for my bath soon so that my fur can smell nice :)
