Likes: Getting LOTS of attention from her mom, playing with her brother, pretending to be a lap dog
Pet-Peeves: Being left all alone, Angel taking her bone away, not being near her mom, Angel getting more attention than her
Favorite Toy: Anything she can chew on, especially bones and mom's stuff to destroy!
Favorite Food: Anything mom drops on the floor, Goldfish crackers
Favorite Walk: Anywhere
Best Tricks: Sit, leave it, shake. Angelina learned high five just from watching her brother do it! I'm trying to teach her dead dog the same way.
Arrival Story: My dog Angel goes to day care sometimes, and the day care is located in the same home as the animal rescue where Angelina lived. Angel became very attached to her while at day care. They always play together, running around everywhere and having a blast. The owner of the rescue was looking for someone to act as a foster mom to Angelina, so she could get more one-on-one attention, and I wanted Angel to have a playmate at home, so she's living with us until we can find her a great forever home. Unfortunately Angelina can't stay with us because of the rules at my apartment complex and my insurance company, but we're hoping to find her a loving family who doesn't have to deal with those unfair breed restrictions.
Update- I have decided to risk breaking the rules and keep Angelina forever. She's such a good dog, I just couldn't bear to part with her, and I know Angel won't be able to either!
Bio: Angelina got her name because she loves to adopt little puppies, take care of them and play with them. She's a very sweet dog, who's happy putting her head on your lap so you can pet her all night long (at least that's what she would love!)
She got her Rattlesnake nickname from the way her tail wags when she's trying to be good and still, she just can't help but wag just the tip of her tail!

My "aunt" Michelle came by yesterday and I was so excited to see her! I always have fun with Michelle. But yesterday, she brought Donatella with her, and left her here. :( Donatella is a 9 month old puppy that's been living at Michelle's house- I see her every once in a while when I go visit Michelle, and Angel likes her a lot, but I don't understand why she had to come live with us!
Mommy says she's a foster dog, that she'll be here for a while so she can learn how to live with other dogs, so she can be a good dog for her furever parents. I guess I'm OK with that, as long as Mommy remembers I'm top dog at this house! I've been kinda mean to Donatella since she got here, trying to show her who's boss. Mommy doesn't like that very much, but she's still giving me lots of love, so I think I'll ease up on Donatella, as long as Mommy remembers who's in charge!
Mom got Angel and I sweaters for Christmas. It's not extremely cold here in FL, but every once in a while it gets chilly, and our house is not well insulated, so we used to sleep VERY close to Mom on those nights. I guess she thought if she got us sweaters that we would stop doing that, but of course we haven't, because we like snuggling with her :)
I'm not sure how I feel about wearing my sweater. Sure, it's warm, but it's a pain to put on (I probably don't help with that, I get tense every time Mom tries to put my arms through the holes). And if Angel doesn't pull his up before going outside, he pees on it! Clothes just don't seem like a very practical thing for dogs... maybe I'll change my mind if we ever move further up north!
We moved again a couple of weeks ago. I wish my Mom would pick a place she likes and stay there already, I don't like all this moving around! I did get to meet a few of my Mom's friends who helped us move, and they were all very nice. Mom says she's very proud of me because I handled this move ten times better than the last one- I even managed not to destroy anything for a whole two weeks :) I told her if she wants me to stop eating things, she shouldn't leave them hanging out in my room! How was I supposed to know the blinds were supposed to keep the sun out and were not toys!
