Pet-Peeves: Strangers trying to handle her

Favorite Toy: Her doggie beds

Favorite Food: Dried chicken treats

Favorite Walk: Around the block

Best Tricks: Snoring!

Arrival Story: I was fostering Vivian on behalf of a large well-respected animal welfare organization in the San Francisco Bay area.
She was in a foster home because she had/has some behavioral issues that we wanted to resolve before adopting her out -- Vivian in the past would be somewhat aggressive towards any strangers that tried to handle her, or anyone that tried to put a collar on her.
She's currently about 7.5lbs, is spayed, microchipped & current on all her shots. She gets along well with other dogs around her same size, enjoys car rides, slow walks, and mostly just hanging around & napping in one of her many 'nests' at her foster home.
VIVIAN WAS ADOPTED!!!!
Vivian was adopted out into a great home on the evening of May 22. She's now living with two Chihuahua boys approximately her same age, with a nice, large fenced-in yard and some doting human parents as well as some very nice human grandparents living close by.
This Dogster page will soon be turned over to her new family, who will hopefully keep us all up-to-date on Vivian's new life.

Bio: Vivian is doing great! She's getting along very well with the her humans as well as her canine brothers, and loves her new home. Here's part of the email report I received from Vivian's new mom:

Thank you VERY much for taking such great care of Miss Coco Vivian Chanel. Thanks to your care, she is a terrific addition to our family.
Miss Coco Vivian Chanel is settling into her new life. She prefers Mac to Phil (he is smaller & mellower). My parents are "over the moon" in love with her. She prefers me to my husband (guess he is not around enough)....... She loves to be around people, does NOT like to be alone, even with the other dogs.
Unfortunately she has had 2 seizures, one ~ 4 minutes and the other ~ 10 minutes. We took her to meet her new vet, Dr. Hoge today. He gave us Phenobarbital that he said should prevent seizures. He thinks she is younger than 8, he thought she was between 4-5 as he said her teeth were in pretty good shape [better than "normal" for a chihuahua of that age].
Other than the seizures, she is settling in great. She is very well behaved, prefers the dry food to the wet food, LOVES treats, likes to be walked, likes to explore the garden, likes her "Coco-brown" snuggly that you gave us for her and enjoys car rides.
Congratulations on Oliver. He sounds like a terrific dog who is VERY lucky...... both to survive being hit by a car AND to have you as his foster Dad!!!
Take care with Oliver and your puppy pack & more on Miss Coco Vivian Chanel in the future,

I've given her new mom info on how to set up a Dogster account, and will transfer this page over to her once she's done so.
