Quick Bio:

Birthday:
January 1st 1996

Likes:
Bucky loved FOOD and stretching out when he ran.

Pet-Peeves:
He didn't have any. He never got upset or showed any agressiveness at all. He was most agreeable.

Favorite Toy:
He wasn't in to toys. Just give him a good bone and he was happy.

Favorite Food:
Anything that was edible. He wasn't picky. He would even take a mouthful with him and put it right next to him in case he got hungry before he could get back to his food bowl.

Favorite Walk:
He loved walking anywhere. It didn't matter where. He just loved the outing.

Arrival Story:
We got Bucky and his sister May when they were 8 weeks old. They weighed 1.25 pounds each. There were 3 males and 2 females in the litter. All the males looked alike and so I just picked one up and said "This is the one." We immediately got them little collars with bells on them so that we could tell where they were because they were so little. They were the most darling little souls. Bucky was very attached to his sister and never wanted to be without her. She was a little more independent but they were very devoted to each other and did everything together.

Bio:
When Bucky was 7 years old he got sick and was diagnosed with Cushing's disease. We did everything we could to reverse the symptoms but he just never could recover. He got weaker and weaker and stopped eating or drinking. He never appeared to be in pain and as an RN I was constantly monitoring that. But one day we realized that it was time for him to go and because we loved him so much we couldn't let him suffer any more. We lovingly let him go though it hurt so much. We cried for days but he will always be in our hearts and one day when we pass over Rainbow Bridge he will be there to greet us. What a joyful reunion that will be!!
