Arrival Story:
We were looking for a twosome. A brother and a sister. After driving up into the Brushy Mountains of NC we finally found the breeder. There were 5 puppies that were 8 weeks old. I picked the smallest female and one of her brothers. They each weighed 1.25 lbs. May was black when we got her but when the baby hair grew out she was a blonde!! Her brother was always a blonde. We brought them back in a laundry basket but I held her most of the way home. She was beautiful and the biggest brown eyes you have ever seen. Her brother Bucky has passed on now but he will always be in our hearts.

Bio:
Maybelline is now the matriarch of the family and she expects to be treated with the utmost respect. In fact, she demands it of her younger siblings. But she is very nurturing and help us raise her little brothers Ernie and Bo. They, however, realize that she is the boss of them!
