I first met Becky when I was at the feed store buying cat food. She was lying there by the cash register. I bent down to pet her, and the shop owner (who knew me) said "Do you need a dog?" "Yes," I said, "Yes, I do." "A guy came in with that dog last week, and before I knew it, he was gone and the dog was still here." After some coaxing, my wife agreed to take her in, and Becky's been with us since.
