Life has changed forever. At first I thought they had only let her inside by accident or that maybe we were just watching her for a while. Then she never went home.

There is another dog in the house. It's fun, sometimes, but I am not convinced that she is the best thing for us. She takes my toys, chews all of the bones and pushes her way into my spots.

She also makes Autumn very mad. I don't like it when people are upset. She clearly doesn't understand a thing being said. They call her Duchess, which is kind of stupid, because she isn't refined or the least bit accomplished.

Also, she is a pig.

Maybe this is all part of winter blues. I miss the grass in my back yard. Maybe Duchess will run away.

Some good news is that there is a space heater in the office and I just have to plop down on the floor in order to get comfortable. The new house, which I don't think I've mentioned, is also the coolest thing.

Things sure are different, now.

Happy 2010!

Everyone had me on their Xmas list! I got clothes, treats and toys - my favorite thing of all is the LASER POINTER! HOLY GOD I LOVE TO CHASE THAT RED DOT. I understand that there is no magic involved (my owners control it with a plastic thing) but knowing the secret doesn't spoil my fun. In fact, I'm glad to know how it works because otherwise I might become fixated on other reflective lights, just waiting for them to happen.

Family trips, bonfires, digestible bones - what a great year. Here is to more of the same!

I thought the dog park was cool but I had no idea that another county park could be so much fun! It seems that I enjoy exploring with my family more than I do, just hanging around with so many other dogs. Besides, a lot of dogs at the park need to learn proper manners - I get really annoyed with the mindless pouncing and slobbering.

Life is the same as always, filled with big perks like family visits and little perks like riding along to the drive-through and back. I ate part of a tennis ball some weeks back and, luckily, puked it right back up so that it wouldn't harm me.

I got a new plush bed that's pink - but I'd rather it was a stuffed toy. In fact I just pretend that it is. It chews up all the same. What else? The girl found me a squeaky plush named Bruce Woofless, modeled after one of her Hollywood heroes. He lasted about 20 seconds. There is no hero like my Boy, anyway. He's the best.

Lots of attention, lots of toys, not enough scraps, but lots of love. Life is pretty sweet.

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!

I was born one year ago today! Autumn is gonna mix up some of my favorite soft food with my dry stuff, today as a treat, and Brad has been throwing my new toy around, AN ORANGE CUZ! (I got the evil kind with little horns on top).

If any other Bostons out there want a cool toy, I say try the Cuz. Mine was from Pet Supplies Plus and the tough rubber balls are available in several different sizes. They squeak and have little feet on them, making it easier for me to retrieve and chew on. :) I love it.

I've been waiting for it to warm up; I can't be out in the snow very long before I freeze. My owners will be renewing our DOG PARK PASS and I can't wait!

Enjoy my newest videos, featuring playtime with the newest family member, Corby. See you around!

I've been fixed and had my stitches removed, yesterday. Then Autumn brought me into work where I charmed her boss and from there it was off to Petco! I got to pick out some liver treats (I grabbed them as we waited at the checkout and she agreed to the purchase) and was awarded a few bones for behaving well.

On Xmas I'll be up north, visiting my owners' families and will hopefully get a chance to sprint around, outside! I can't wait.

I LOVED THE MUTT MARCH!

I started going crazy as soon as I saw all of the dogs walking around, from inside the car! It was a blast walking with all of those people!!! They provided plenty of water, swimming pools, and Autumn asked Brad for some monies so I could strut around wearing the 2007 Mega March bandana. :)

Last weekend was Animal Awareness Day in a nearby city and I got to go right when the mini-fair opened in order to get the most freebies! And holy crap were there a bunch - big ol' bags of Science Diet food, food dishes, leashes, stuffed squeaky toys, treats, even things for my owners.

We checked out the Boston Terrier Rescue booth, recognizing one guy and his pups from a local dog park, and they were happy to see me healthy and happy. I had on my hooded sweatshirt which I quite like - it's warm and doesn't hinder walking or running.

I'm still showered in compliments from passers-by; the public loves me.

I had a run-in with something that caused an allergic breakout, which was not fun. Autumn spent a small fortune at the vet so that I would heal quickly, and I did. I am now on the fairly new "Revolution" brand parasite-prevention that kills and prevents ear mites, fleas, ticks, and heartworm all in one! It seems to work well.

I still frequent the dog park and am very kind to the people and animals, there - but when people walk by my yard space I still have a tendency to bark. I really don't like strangers in my territory and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to accept them all. Autumn is the same way, I think.

Time for a nap!

5 Months And Growing

While I know that dog parks can be risky business, I adore mine. I've shocked my owners with how quickly I can dart around! There is a lot of space to run free and I manage to hold my own despite my size. Most importantly I refrain from showing aggression and mingle quite well with the crowd - something that my owners expressed was very necessary. Piece of cake!

My vet says that I'm up to 10.5 pounds, now, and could take a little over a year to reach full size. Even though everyone asks if I'm a miniature, I'm really quite a bit larger than I used to be! My owners have been hesitating to feed me as many scraps, lately, so that I don't turn into a picky eater or become overweight.

I've recently been given a handful commands... I can't really remember what any of them are called off the top of my head. Sometimes they want my butt on the ground and they're getting picky about the way I walk on a leash. Oh well - I'm sure they'll give up soon enough.

Despite recently getting a claw to the face from Autumn's yet-to-be-declawed kitten, I've caused no concerns. I'm happy to be healthy and I won't need any more shots until next year. Life is good!

Please take a moment to pay your respects to the one I often hear stories about, Lacy. My owners have dedicated a page to her, accessible from my "family" section.

She was black and white, just like me.

I'm going to cut this short because Autumn looks very sad. Adding Lacy must have gotten to her - they loved each other very much. I need to go cheer her up.
