Well, this new brother thing is quite nice. You can tell he was adopted, he looks nothing like the rest of the family. He's short , fat and shows his teeth alot. And he's always drooling he must have some medical problem. I still get to come in when it's hot or rainy or if Mommy thinks I'm sick. Last time I was in I got yelled at because I tore up some of my blanket. I was a little mad, He just struts around like he owns this place and I am top dog. I'm a lot bigger than he is,but like I said ,he's short and fat and I only out weigh him by about 10 pounds. But I'm a working dog, I have duties to preform, like keeping the yard free of Possums and what does he do? plays with toys all day. I guess we will all eventually get along and I won't be so jealous. I know my Daddy loves me and Mommy too, she's just not much of a dog person or so she says. But you know she seems to know when I feel bad and keeps up with my shots, just like she does the girls. So I feel I have a loving home with good parents.

Party Animal

Wel, I got to wear a hat this time and I tried to act calm so Dad wouldn't put me back by the storage shed again. The cake was sooo good and I think I look great in a hat, Does anybody know what a Dunce hat is? I heard that word used a couple of times during the party and they were looking right at me. Well soon summer will be all gone and the days will be shorter,which will work well for me because the possums don't come out until dark. I guess the party's are over for me this year. We have a few more but they won't be at our house. Mom says I slobber all over her car, so there is no need to ask her to take me. Well it's only a few blocks, maybe if I can get off the leash I can go to Racheals party. It's gonna be a pool party and you can bet Sarge will get to swim with all the kids. Well all this excitement has been rough on an old man and I think I'll lay down and watch for the possums.

One Party down and still countin

Well, big sis Lissy had her party this past weekend, lots of kids,lots of water,and a great big cake,but wouldn't you know it I got sooo excited that Dad tied me up in the back by the storage shed. All that fun and I couldn't get to it. They went to Daddy's sisters for a party for her little girl today. I didn't get to see any of that excitement. But thats OK Granny still has a Birthday at the end of the month,she probably won't have a party,she tries to let her birthday sneak by ,cause she don't want to get any older. Then Red has a party commin up, She really loves me and shares everything with me so I'm sure I'll get to wear a hat and have cake and ice cream,she even hand feeds me. Now no dog could ask for a better sister than that.

A birthday party

Looks like there may be some fun commin up around here. Mom was talking on the phone while she watched the girls play outdoors. Well' I know its not nice but I got close enough to listen and what a suprise. Seems like everybody has a birthday in August and it's gonna be a boomin month around here. Water parties ,cake ,ice cream and party hats. I can hardly wait, I love cake and ice cream. Hope I don't over eat and have to see the vet again. Guess I'll have to clean up my act and make sure there are no possums in the yard that day. Gonna love all those kids and don't let them know but I plan to try my luck on the slip and slde. Looks easy enough, but maybe I better trim my nails so I don't rip the slide. Party, party party, I am a party animal.

Home sweet home

Well, things have been looking up around here. Dad and Mommy bought this new house, but I'm an outdoor dog. Mommy lets me in if we get bad storms or if I get sick. They now have two little girls that love to play with me. My little sister RED plays in the sand with me during the day, My older sister Lissy don't have much time after a long day at school, but soon she'll be home all day and we can play in her playhouse out back. I had cancer and cost Mom and dad tons of money. They shortly after the surgery Mommy gave me a huge meal of left overs, quite nice if I have to say so myself. But the next day I didn't feel so well and Mommy called Dad at work, well off to the vet I went. Daddy should have been there to hear that vet ream mom out for over feeding me. Well, I gotta stay in the house a few days and take Pepto. I keep daddy really busy,because with all those holes in the yard, it makes it very hard for him to mow the grass. And then he has to dig a few extras to bury the possums that get in my domain, He tells me that it is not nice to hurt other aminals, but I guess it is the thrill of the hunt.Well, I gotta go now it's getting dark and those critters come in the yard just asking for trouble, or should I say to get me in trouble. Because if Dad has to come out here again he's really gonna be mad.
