Arrival Story: I wanted a brother for Hera as a playmate and companion. I spent weeks on end looking for the right breed and breeder. I contacted the right breeder and have been in contact with them since October of 06 waiting to get our little boy. He is now home and wearing us out! He has so much more energy then Hera did at his age and so much more sass. He chews everything and is too smart for his own good.
Bio: We're hoping to show him and after the showing train him for therapy.
My mommy took me to my second dog show this last weekend. I did alright on Saturday, my brother Max beat me that day. On Sunday I wowed the Judge with my big handsome face and got best of males but lost out to some specialties and a girl in the best of breed. Mom thought I only got 1 point but I got my first 2 points. She was so excited. She was trying to give me french fries on the way home but I was still a bit worked up from all the other dogs I had been around that she wouldn't let me play with. Mom and me were so worn out when we got all of our stuff done on that Sunday we just passed right out. Well I got to pass out before mom, she had to clean out the car from all of drool and find all the fries I didn't eat. Then I got to curl up on the couch with her and have a nap to celebrate all of her hard work. I guess this show thing isn't half bad.
Mommy and Daddy were at work like any normal day when pretty close to their arrival time there was this loud thunderous roaring outside. I was so afraid... it was dark and raining so hard and so loud. Then it got light again. After a little while I was afraid mommy and daddy weren't coming home but then our friend Natalie came over to let us out and check on our house. We went out and she brought us back in and put us back up... a few minutes later I see Daddy running down the street with out his car, which is odd. It was really quiet in the house and all the normal noises were gone... all we could hear were sirens, lots of them. Daddy kept saying how lucky we were and calling mommy to let her know her babies were ok and so was our home. He kept talking about a Tornado that must have been what made it all dark and was so loud. I'm just glad we are ok.
Mommy gave me the exciting news that I have been entered in my first show in November. She has been training me over the last couple months. I think I'm getting better but my mommy still needs work. She tries real hard though. I have learned how to get up on the bed at night. Daddy gets frustrated because I am so big and take up so much room. This lady I remember from when I was really little keeps telling mommy that I am a very big boy. 7 months old and I am 82lbs... whatever that means. Oh well off the push momma of the couch so I can sprawl out and snooze some more.
