Arrival Story:
We found Snoop through He was in a foster home through the Willing Hearts Dalmation Rescue (They've branched out to include other breeds). Willing Hearts and other rescue organizations of it's kind that depend on foster families are so very amazing. Their dedication and love for dogs is such a blessing. Instead of living in cages until they are adopted, these animals live and interact with families making their transitions much easier for everyone. At Snoop's foster home he lived with 10 children, 3 other dogs, and two parents. He is very well socialized and loves to be around people and especially loves to play with kids. Luckily there are plenty of kids in our neighborhood to keep him busy.

Snoop and Rocky have truly become brothers. Rocky was used to being the lone dog in the family and he is much older so it took him a little while to get used to this new addition. They do play together once or twice each day for short periods but Rocky doesn't have the energy that Snoop does. Nevertheless, Snoop is very attached to Rocky as well as our cat, Augie. He loves them both and I fear he will be very lonely when the two of them are gone as they are 15 and 16 years old. Snoop is very smart and learns things quickly. We've been doing some click training and he has learned to close the kitchen cabinets and is learning to play 'roll the ball' with mommy. Snoop has become such a wonderful part of our family. He couldn't possibly be more perfect. He is very energetic at times and just when he starts to get on your last nerve he does something so cute or sweet that you just can't help but laugh. We are very blessed to have him in our lives.

Forums Motto:
Throw the ball! Now chase me! Chase me!
