Likes:
Buddha liked loves, lots and lots of love from me & also enjoyed chasing squirrels & cats. He loved to romp around in tall grass & lay out on the hot sidewalk in his yard in the middle of the summer~ He liked his toys & treats treats treats!

Pet-Peeves:
New people coming to the house, cuz he had to protect his momma...and the cats & squirrels that he couldn't ever catch! (But i guarantee you he's catching lots of them up in heaven these days!)

Favorite Toy:
It was a rope toy that he had for almost 6 yrs. and also loved his stuffed squeaky toys, the goal, of course, was to get the squeaker out a.s.a.p.

Favorite Food:
Beef Jerkey, Popcorn...pretty much anything humans eat, besides lettuce!

Favorite Walk:
He loved going to Greenough Park in Missoula, MT and then just around the neighborhood, because he OWNED it!

Best Tricks:
Learned how to say "i love you" and you could tell him to make his squeaky toy "go squeak squeak squeak" and he would do it

Arrival Story:
When i was 16 i wanted a dog, but my mom wouldn't let me get one, so i asked my bestfriend to buy me one for my birthday & then my mom would have to let me keep it...i knew i wanted a chow, so i called the pet store & it was like fate, they had chow mix puppies there (and haven't had them in town since then that i know of, or even montana for that matter) so, we went to the pet store, and i'm pretty sure we had to lie to the store owner about our age so we could take the little bundle of fur home w/us & the rest, well the rest is history & the story of the world's bestfriends, Me and my Buddha Bear!

Bio:
Buddha lived to be 11 1/2 yrs old. In October of 2005 he was diagnosed with LymphoSarcoma, a form of cancer that Chows can be prone to. He underwent 3 surgeries to remove tumors. When he was first diagnosed i told him that he had to let me know when it was time for him to go, or else i would keep him forever. He battled cancer fearlessly, boldly for almost 10 months & one day decided he that he was tired & just quit walking~ So, i sadly made the hardest decision of my life & Buddha left this world with pride and bravery, the way he lived his life! He left in the comfort of our own home with his mom and dad holding him! I miss you Buddha, play hard up in heaven little punk!
