Favorite Toy:
tennis ball

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:

Best Tricks:
Sit, paw/shake, giving a kiss

Arrival Story:
We got her from a rescue shelter as a tiny puppy (we didn't realise she was going to grow so big! But we're happy that she turned out to be such a gentle giant).

She had an awful start in life because she was abandoned in a cardboard box with her brothers. She doesn't have any sisters but her best friend, Ruby, lives with us. She is not her real fur sister but she loves her like the sister she never had and they have been living together for awhile now and they love eachother a lot. I don't think she could imagine her life without her sister now, and Ruby can't imagine her life without Jessie since she's always depressed whenever Jessie has to go down to the vet and she's left without her for a little while. They do everything together. Other things about Jessie are that she loves to play with her usually slobbery tennis ball which drives me mad since slobber gets on me but if she stares at me long enough, I will give in to temptation and throw the ball for her. The puppy-dog eyes do it every time! She loves lying beside the fire on a cold winter's day and going for long walks and sometimes sneaking up onto the trampoline in the garden for a little bounce! There's a protective netting around it so I don't have to worry about her falling out.

The field of Infinite Dreams

I stare into the dark, cloudy sky,
With my beautiful, deep hazel eyes
All that I can see in the clouds now made
Look into the sky and watch them fade
The dreams I had did all come true
The love, the walks, the things to chew
And then the care went speeding by
With me in it
My owners cry:
“It’s hard for us to leave you, we don’t want you to go,
But there’s nothing else to do now, we’ve failed you, yes we know.
“It’s hard to forget last winter,
When you cuddled up to us in bed
You looked so sweet and angelic,
As you rested your head.
“But when you growled at our baby,
Even though she did pull your tail,
We thought that really maybe,
In your training we did fail.
“And now it’s time to say goodbye,
Into the fields you go,
The field of infinite dreams,
That you used to know…”

(Thank dog this isn't my story but my mummy really wanted to share a poem she made up with the others)

I'm a diary pic!

Okay so I remember that day about a year ago so vividly...I looked at my computer screen and saw on the dogster home page that I was dairy of the day. I stuck my paw to my mouth and pinched myself but I wasn't dreaming. While my mummy made me my tasty dinner in the kitchen, I stayed glued to the computer swivel chair, almost crying tears of joy. Okay, so I might be exaggerating just the teensy little bit but it was an honour. Okay, so that day hasn't come again but I was a diary PIC of the day on the first of April (how swell or, as us pups say, how smell!).
