I was tagged for Thanksgiving!

Because it's Thanksgiving time, there is a change to the rules. Each player needs to tell seven special things they are thankful for. Tagged dogs must post the rules in their diary and their 7 things. Then choose 7 pups to tag and list their names. My Saturday

Last night I got to sleep in bed with mommy and daddy, which I just love!!! It is a treat on the weekends. I woke up and mommy looked like she was packing my bag and getting ready to take me somewhere so I just watched until she said it was time. I rode in my car seat and as soon as we got close to our meeting spot I started whining b/c I knew what we were doing. I met all my friends for a great walk. I still get spooked at times b/c everyone, except for Cinnamon, the Pomeranian, is bigger than me. I just love it though. After the walk, most of my friends left but 3 of them and we decided to go walk a little more. It was fun. After that we all went to eat Mexican food where mom gave me a little cheese quesidilla and shrimp. I don't get to eat much people food so that was GREAT! I am now home and getting ready for a nap. What a great day!

Thanks to my friend for a great day and can't wait to see you in 2weeks!

Happy Thanksgiving. I will be flying for the first time and we are going to see my Aunt Becky in FL. See ya when I get back.

What a great camping trip!

I went camping this past weekend with another member of my walking pack named Rosco and his parents. Boy was it fun!!! We camped in the primitive area and put our camp on the edge of a beautiful lake.
Me and Rosco would bark at dogs on the other side of the park that we couldn't even see; it was fun. We went for a walk together and took pictures. Rosco is a lot bigger than me so mom had to watch that I didn't get stepped on but it was great. I don't know that I am small and Rosco doesn't know that he is big, probably not a great match but we love each other. We rolled in the dirt and got all sandy, just like real dogs do! Dad took us for a ride in the back of the truck and that was so exciting too! We are going camping with them again and I can't wait. The weather was perfect too!!
I really am a happy camper.

October 1, 2007 Today I made Dog of the Day!

What a great day! My mom woke up and checked her email and got a message saying "Congrats on being "dog of the day". She hurried and went to look and sure enough there was my picture. You have to understand that today was the first day of my mom's favorite month(a good thing) and it was the first day of the work week(not such a good thing) and my being dog of the day just made her so happy she almost forgot she had to go to work. October means a lot to us: 1. fall weather starts 2. we start our camping trips 3. my mom and dad's 7 year anniversayr on the 7th of Oct 2007!!! 4. great month for fairs/festivals!!! We just love OCTOBER and what a great way to start a great month. Mom loves dogster b/c it is a clean, fun loving way to express herself about the four-legged children she loves so dearly. Mom has no human children and she just loves me and Teddy(who is no longer with us) sooo much that it was an honor for her to see me get to be DOTD! Dad was even proud of me and I did nothing but don't tell them. She has been so much happier since finding dogster and meeting all our new friends that she has prayed for, laughed with, cried for, loved, shared info with, and actually met some to walk with. All she keeps saying is "What a great day! Isn't God great!"

FNWP 4th walk

Boy, was today fun!!! I met so many great friends this morning. First, I met Canna, Zeus, and their mom, Diane and they were really nice. They met us early before the walk b/c they had a prior engagement but we have pics of them. Then, I met a BIG BIG BIG dog, the biggest I've ever seen, named Dakota and his daddy, Jason. They were real nice too. My old buddy, Rosco and his mommy Marissa came but he was in "time out" for a little while so I had to wait to walk with him until he was behaving. Thank God, he was doing much better. Then, I met a pretty pug named Sassy and her mom, Julie. I know what a pug is because my cousin and 2nd cousin are pugs. I love the noises she made. She was so pretty. A dog named Beignet came by and wanted to join our pack too so I hope they join us on our next walk. Then, I met Amos and Katie and their mom and dad, Lori and AJ. What a great family!! Katie even learned not to bark at the runners!!! Then, Spencer and Mattie came with their mom, Tammy, sister, Caroline, and friend, Manon. I laughed b/c at the end of the walk Spencer was pooped out and was laying on the ground. My mom took pictures of him. Last but not least, I met a pretty girl named Lizzy Belle and her mom. They will be joining dogster soon. She was so shiny and pretty and they are coming next time. Her mom said they overslept this morning and missed us. I can't wait to see my wonderful friends again in 2 weeks. Thank you all for being a part of my wonderful day. I will never forget it. May God bless you and keep you safe until we meet again.

June 2, 2007 Fabulous NOLA Walking Pack's first meeting

Wow!!! Thats all I can say. The pack met for the first time yesterday and I am just now able to write about it. There are pictures posted on the group site of my new friends. There was this little dog smaller than me and his name was Pepito and we were trying to see which one of us could tie up our mommies with our leashes first. Neither one of us was able but I still think I could beat him, he was just 5mth and I'm a year old, come on!!! I met Holly, Roscoe and Jasmine they were all bigger than me but we didn't care. We looked funny walking together, at least thats what we heard but we thought we looked cool. We walked all around Abudubon Park and then sat and talked a while. Then after a while, we went to a place called LA Pizza Kitchen where I had some ice and water and thats all. It was so much fun.

My mom and dad then brought me to Chiwawagaga, a small dog store, and bought me a camo leash (cool) and a pair of doggles with flames on the side. I really don't love wearing them but they are supposed to be good for me. Any way, I am so happy today and I got great exercise with my new friends. Mommie said she is going to do it again, soon. I can't wait to see my friends again and make new ones.
