Go Rest High On That Mountain
Update on Sierra 6/6/07June 6th 2007 11:47 am[ Leave A Comment ] When we first heard of Sierra about 8 weeks ago, there was a strong possibility that we would be able to adopt her. About two weeks ago she took a turn for the worse, and the rescue lady woke up and found her not breathing, they were able to resussitate her and get her into the vet right away. He said because of the damage to her lungs and eyes brought on by being dipped in bleach, she will have chronic respiratory problems for how ever she is able to live, and she is going blind. (I hate stupid people). Rhonda said she is not willing to put her through the stress of adoption because everytime she is under the slightest of stress, even if it's just when she gets out of her sight, she starts having breathing problems, sometimes severe. Sierra's life span is in real question and will probably be fairly short time. We want her to be as comfortable as possible for what ever time she has remaining so we agreed with the rescue lady that to stay with her would be best. We are going to continue to think of her as a part of out family even though she will not be able to live with us. We will keep you updated on how she is doing.
