Arrival Story:
Sierra is a rescue, she was abused in her former home and is in the rescue process right now. The lady that does the rescue work is a friend of ours and she knew we had another pug. We wanted to adopt her, but because of her medical condition that is not going to be possible at any time in the near future.

Bio:
Sierra is facing surgery to repair the soft palette in her throat next week. As soon as she is strong enough she will be able to come over and play with Tug, CJ, and Max. UPDATE Sierra went to the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon after a struggle all of her life she is no longer suffering at all. She has seen two different vets in recent days and both have thought she had PDE. or something closely resembling it brought on by her years of mistreatment. She is gone but not forgotten.

Go Rest High On That Mountain

I know your life
on earth was troubled
and only you could know the pain.
You weren't afraid to face the devil,
you were no stranger to the rain.

Go rest high on that mountain
son, your work on earth is done.
Go to heaven a-shoutin'
love for the Father and the Son.

Oh,how we cried the day you left us
we gathered round your grave to grieve.
I wish i could see the angels faces
when they hear your sweet voice sing.

Go rest high on that mountain
son, your work on earth is done.
Go to heaven a-shoutin'
love for the Father and the Son.

When we first heard of Sierra about 8 weeks ago, there was a strong possibility that we would be able to adopt her. About two weeks ago she took a turn for the worse, and the rescue lady woke up and found her not breathing, they were able to resussitate her and get her into the vet right away. He said because of the damage to her lungs and eyes brought on by being dipped in bleach, she will have chronic respiratory problems for how ever she is able to live, and she is going blind. (I hate stupid people). Rhonda said she is not willing to put her through the stress of adoption because everytime she is under the slightest of stress, even if it's just when she gets out of her sight, she starts having breathing problems, sometimes severe. Sierra's life span is in real question and will probably be fairly short time. We want her to be as comfortable as possible for what ever time she has remaining so we agreed with the rescue lady that to stay with her would be best. We are going to continue to think of her as a part of out family even though she will not be able to live with us. We will keep you updated on how she is doing.
