Pet-Peeves: Being put in a crate! She's not house trained.. so if we can't watch her.. in the crate she goes!
Favorite Toy: Any bone that she can chew in private, and she likes it when I stuff her Kong with liver treats.. and let's not forget her favorite toy; Zephyr!
Favorite Food: Innova Large Breed Puppy. Specifically formulated for the Dane's lower protein and fat needs.
Favorite Walk: Brown's Branch County Park in Harrington.
Best Tricks: She sits and lays, and recalls too.
Arrival Story: Josh always wanted a Dane, but he didn't expect one for a long time! I saw an ad for her, and she was the last one left! Black, just like he wanted.. so when he got home, I handed him her AKC papers... and he about cried, he was so happy!

Bio: She's now bigger than Chansey, and I think she's finally figured it out, too!! Now it's Kairi that gets to keep the bones and eat first. She gets along great with Chansey and Zephyr, and loves to play in the back yard with them. She's starting to grow into her legs, so there aren't as many "crash and burns" as there were one month ago. I've also begun training her in harness, so she'll be ready when we get our new cart in a few months. No actual pulling until she's much older, but she'll be walking along with the cart as Chansey pulls.

Well, the internet is finally up in our new place!! Now I can get you UTD on all the happenings!! Kairi is 7 months old now.. and she's so purty! She had a sickness a few weeks back, and for a second there, I thought she wasn't going to pull out of it!! She was throwing up, had diarrhea, was listless.. it lasted about 2 days.. and then she was back to her crazy self!! We think she ate something nasty that our old neighbors in Harrington threw into our yar.. like a dead, rotten catfish, chcken wings, rib bones, more dead fish... We called thepolce, but they just told US to build a FENCE! Well, luckily, the nast stuff dissappeared after Josh tossed one of their dead fish in their nasty swimming pool. (After we had let the fish "marinate" in a plastic bag in the hot sun... hee hee.) Yeah, that's not being very neighborly, I know.. but we'd had enough. That, and they had stolen $100 in puppy money from me.. and tried to steal Zephyr, too... So anyway.. now we're in a good neighborhood with nice neighbors (so far..) And we'll have pictures up ASAP!!
