This just in, there has been a new development in the Strike Fur Water... The Doxies have crossed the picket lines, lured by the sweet smell of TUMS at bedtime!!

The great injustice

So lately Daddy has been home on weekends with us, while Mom is at work. And he has been trusting us loose in the house while he runs a quick errand. For weeks we were good every single time (shocking as it may be). But this past Sunday, he went too far. Daddy FORGOT to put the water dish out for us. We were OUTRAGED! How dare he forget to give us water! We tried to tell him when he got home, JB and Pearl tore up the vinyl flooring in the kitchen, right in front of the sink... Jack and Newtie and Penny dug for drips in the tub, to no avail! We had to wait for Mom to arrive. *sigh*

When she arrived and saw the destruction, she knew something was wrong. She looked and saw the tell-tale water dish on the crates. She knew Daddy had forgotten to put it on the floor where weenigos could reach it.

The great and wise Mom rescued us from our parched state, and we all rejoyced. Now whenever we are to be alone with Daddy, we will be on STRIKE until Mom comes home.
