Arrival Story:
I wanted a companion for Gypsy, so I adopted him from a pet rescue group when he was allegedly 6 months old. He was only 30 lbs then and they said he wouldn't get much bigger, that he was a lab/beagle mix. Well, he's now 70 lbs and twice as big, and we have no idea what he is but doubt it's beagle. Probably dalmation or similar.

Bio:
This dog has the most amazing repetoire of sound effects! And he's so silly ... he can look noble and ridiculous at the same time. He's either so friendly you'd think he's running for office, or so protective and scary-sounding when he's barking at a trespasser you'd think he's going to take a limb off. The name Wooden Ears comes from the fact that, once his nose finds something interesting, his ears disengage ... he doesn't hear you no matter how long or loud you call him.
