My pal Dugen tagged me. He told 7 things about himself, so I'll tell 7 things about myself. Then she tagged 7 pals and they were supposed to do the same. So I'll tag 7 pups.
1 - I love working as a therapy dog with PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support). I get all kinds of free love and the silly humans call it work.
2 - I hate to take a bath!!! But I love frappin' once I am all pretty.
3 - My favorite walk is at Huntington Beach Dog Beach.
4 - I am super jealous of my BFF Lola she has her very own store; she is CFO (Chief Furry Officer) www.dogster.com/dogs/536794.
5 - I am a picky eater. A girl has to watch her figure you know.
6 - I love my little brother Buddy! We have our brother/sister spats but we always make up and give each other kisses.
7 - I have more clothes than any dog should have!
Now I'm off to tag my pals Lola, Teddy, Ya'Shee Doo, Kiwi, Alfie, Marley, and Chloe La Rue

Once you've been tagged, you must write 7 things about yourself, and Tag at least 5 others:
7 Things about Me......
1) I weigh 6 lbs.
2) I am a certified therapy dog with PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support), through the Orange County SPCA.
3) I prefer beef jerky as a treat to hard crunchy treats.
4) I hate having my teeth brushed; but like having my teeth cleaned by the doggie dentist.
5) I have an extensive wardrobe and soon mom is going to have to buy me a bigger closet space to store it all in.
6) I hate wearing bows in my hair! Once, I pulled a bow I was wearing off my head and it took all the fur with it; when the fur grew back it grew back all white. Mom calls it my ‘skunk spot.’
7) I love to visit with all my pup pals. It is a great day when my furriends get to come over and play.
Chloe, Barklay, McGraw, Honey & Cinnamon Bear...YOU'VE BEEN TAGGED!!!

First of all I want to thank all my pup pals for coming to support the OCSPCA; my cousins Sheila and Cody, Lola, Kiwi, Cholla, Bubba, Chloe, Fern and the FLF (Johnny, Baby Ben and the unforgettable Beatrix). Because of my pack I had the very bestest day!
First we all met up and got to introduce ourselves. I saw the FLF first. Baby Ben is turning into such a handsome pup; he is very tall and has the most beautiful coloring. Johnny and I rekindled our romance for a moment, that boy is so very handsome! And of course there was Miss Beatrix, she is a stunning pup who has the best personality! Beatrix kept all us pups in line, she is such a great Momma figure. My new friend Fern Marie was with the FLF and is so very tiny! Fern Marie came all the way from Colorado. She rode in style in a pouch that looked very warm and cozy. I think mom needs to consider getting me one of those!
Then we saw my friend Kiwi. Kiwi is such a well spirited and smart pup. Kiwi entered in almost all the competitions and placed in every event. Mom was so impressed with how smart Kiwi is that she told me she hopes one day I will be that obedient?! We will see about that one, BOL.
Next my very best friend Lola showed up. Lola and I are currently taking advanced obedience together, isn’t that neat? Anyway, Lola showed up with both her parents. Lola’s little sister Mandy had to stay home, she just got spayed and was not up to the Walk. Next year Mandy!
My cousin’s Sheila and Cody showed up and I was so happy to see them. It had been a whole week since I last saw them, can you believe it?
Next, my new friend Cholla showed up. Cholla is a beautiful boxer. My Mom and Cholla’s mom work together. It was such a bummer, Cholla’s sister Hilla had to stay home, but we sent her a bandana anyway. We wanted to make sure Hilla knew she was missed. Cholla is from Washington State and this is her first So. Cal. event, she did beautifully, very focused and alert. I have decided to invite both Cholla and Hilla to all my events! Cholla was such a joy to be around!
My very good friend Chloe showed up even though her momma was hurting in her back. Chloe's hair is so totally beautiful! She looks like Tina Tuner (she even has her long beautiful legs, BOL). I am so happy that Chloe and her mom could make it!
Last but definitely not least my new friend Bubba showed up. Bubba is super cute! He is a tiny Yorkie. This was Bubba’s first social event and even though he was a little nervous he did great! Mom was so happy to have Bubbas mom come and visit, they had not seen each other in a long time. Bubba got me a Juicy Couture t-shirt as a gift. He is the best; and if he keep shopping that way, he’s on his way to being a great ladies pup!
Thank you to all my pup pals, my day would not have been as special as it was without you!

Oh what a day Saturday was! Mom got me up earlier than normal for a Saturday; I was soooo confused, because usually mom and I get to lounge about on Saturday morning till about 9am or so. Mom started to pack my backpack and get me dressed in my PAWS gear, so I thought that I was going to work, but guess what?! I did not go to work.
Instead, I went to the 2008 OC PetExpo. It was so totally cool. There were all kinds of doggie, kitty, fishy and critter stuff. Mom bought me some new bows for my hair and made some contacts on where to find a proper fitting therapy vest.
The best part about the whole day was when Gibson, “The World’s Tallest Dog” came to visit our booth. The director of our OC SPCA PAWS, group went over to Gibson’s booth to take a picture; well we were in luck, since Gibson is a therapy dog too, Sandy (Gibson’s mom) and Gibson wanted to help with our organization. So, Sandy walked with Gibson over to our booth. Once Gibson was there, EVERYONE stopped to take a look. Gibson is soooo big!! He is so well behaved and mellow, I wish I could have been as calm as he was with sooo many flashes and pictures going on. Sandy and Gibson both educated everyone around the importance and need for therapy teams. They were so nice too take time out of their busy schedules to come and visit. Thank you Gibson and Sandy!
After my shift was over for our booth I got to walk around the whole Expo. It was really neat and fun. I meet so many people and made new pup friends. The only draw back for the day was there were too many homeless pups that need forever homes and that made me sad.

I had such a great day today! My mom took me to a new doggie park in Long Beach. And guess what?! It is the doggie park that Chloe goes to. Ok, well we knew that. Chloe was nice enough to include me in her weekend play date with all her friends. Chloe looks so fashionable with her long poodle hair! Thanks Chloe for inviting me to tag along; I had such a fun day.

My mom got this joke emailed to her and she thought it was funny, so she decided to post it.
10 Peeves that Dogs Have About Humans
1. Blaming your farts on me..... Not funny... Not funny at all !!!
2. Yelling at me for barking. I'M A DOG
3. Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out. Exactly whose walk is this anyway?
4. Any trick that involves balancing food on my nose . Stop it!
5. Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons. Now you know why we chew your stuff up when you're not home.
6. The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw. You fooled a dog! Whoooo Hoooooooo what A proud moment for the top of the food chain.
7. Taking me to the vet for "the big snip", then acting surprised when I freak out every time we go back!
8. Getting upset when I sniff the crotches of your guests. Sorry, but I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet.
9.Dog sweaters. Hello ??? Haven't you noticed the fur?
10. How you act disgusted when I lick myself..Look, we both know the truth. You're just jealous.
--------------------------------------------------
Now lay off me on some of these things. We both know who's boss here!
You don't see me picking up your poop do you?
EVERY DOG HAS HIS DAY.
A DOG ALWAYS OFFERS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

My mom had heard that Cesar Millan was going to be at my local Petco and on Saturday January 26, 2008 I meet Cesar Millan the “Dog Whisperer.”
It was a perfect day. First my furiend Lola showed up with her mom; then my cousins Sheila and Cody came over with their mom, my Auntie Erin. Since Cesar was going to be appearing at the Petco around the corner from my house, my cousins, Lola and I decided that we would walk as a pack instead of trying to have our moms fight the parking lot.
We got very lucky as us Southern Californians were having a storm, but Cesar brought the sunshine and we had a very sunny morning. We all walked over to Petco and then the waiting began…Argh! The wait was what seemed like forever! But I was lucky to have my playmates along and they kept me company. I am glad that we went so early because not everypup got to meet Cesar. There were so many people with their dogs that they finally had to cut the line off (there were actually two lines, one to meet Cesar and one to audition for the show). We were in the line to meet Cesar; mom said that I am a “balanced” dog and did not need to wait in the other line. After about 2 ½ hours of waiting I finally got to meet Cesar.
Cesar is so very polite and nice. He signed my mom’s book for her and took a picture with my mom and me. He complimented on my curly hair and how it matches with my mom and how he loves curly hair! It went very quick as there were a lot of pups in line to meet Mr. Millan, but it was soooo worth it.
My friend Lola was next, she also got her picture with Cesar and her mom can speak Spanish, so she spoke Spanish to Cesar, he said that he felt like a rock star and he could not believe how many people just came to see him; but he better not sing or he may scare off the rest of his fans.
It was so refreshing to meet a celebrity that was polite and appreciative of his fans.
It was super crazy in the store, but it was really neat to see Cesar in action. Since Cesar is always talking/teaching about "calm, assertive, energy" I actually felt it. I got a little nervous at all the craziness inside the store, but as soon as Cesar touched me I calmed down. My mom was soo impressed!

It's a Christmas Tag!
I was tagged by Chloe!
Here are the Rules:
Because it's Christmas time there are changes to the rules. Each player needs to write a short note to Santa Paws and list 5 things on their Christmas list this year. Tagged dogs must post the rules in their diary and their letter with 5 requests. Then choose 5 pups to tag and list their names. Let them know by pawmail or rosette that they have been tagged and to read your diary for the instructions on how to play. AND... since it's Christmastime give them each 5 bones or treats.
Here's my Letter to Santa Paws :)
Dear Santa,
You know how I like to eat tissue, I have tried real hard not to eat them. I have been sweet to all my friends. I try to do what my folks say and have not pooed in the house this year. Please look at my list carefully. Some of the idems are very important to me. I will understand if I can't have it all.
My List:
1. I would like my mom to spend more time with me and less at work and school.
2. I wish for more time with my fur buddies Barkley, Sheila & Cody, Lola, and Chloe.
3. I would like more collars; I love getting new collars!
4. I wish to be a good poodle and do well at my therapy dog work.
5. I wish that everypup has happy holidays and may all your holiday dreams and wishes come true!
I'm Tagging:
Lola
McGraw
Kiwi
Suzette
Honey Bear

I am officially a working poodle.
Yesterday, I got up early had a bath (I hate the bath!) and got a good blow dry so that I was nice and fluffy. Then I got to go for a long walk. Mom then dressed me up in the very pretty dress that Chloe made for me and my fancy pearl necklace. From there we left and went to my working facility.
Once we got to my facility we met up with other members of my therapy dog group. I was the only small dog there; which made things a little intimidating. But, one really cool thing was there was this huge Newfoundland; I was only as big as one of his paws! I felt really little. Once, everypup was there we headed inside.
Oh, everyone was so happy to see us! It was like I was famous or something. I got tons of attention and lots of loves.
I know that mom called my day w-o-r-k, but I have to say it wasn’t! It was so much fun!
Because I was such a good girl for my first day of work, mom took me shopping for a new toy. I brought along my cousin’s Sheila and Cody (and their Mom). But, guess what, my cousin Sheila bought me a toy and my cousin Cody bought me a very special treat! So, today I got two new toys and a treat! Just for doing so great at my job!
I think this working thing is for me; not only do I get all kinds of attention and love, but I get treats and new toys too!

I am a truly blessed poodle. I have some of the best pawls in all of poodledom.
First, I would like to thank my very good pawl Chloe. Chloe MADE a very special howliday dress for me; it is green, red and white plaid. I wore it for my Operation Santa Paws walk. Santa Paws loved how festive I was dressed. I got so many compliments on how beautiful I looked that I started to blush (although, as black as I am I don’t think anypup could tell). I have just passed my PAWS therapy dog testing and my first working day is Saturday, December 15th. I have been asked to dress up for my visit and I plan on wearing this very special dress. I can’t thank Chloe enough for her generosity. Not only do I get a very beautiful dress, but many humans will get a joy out of it as well when I go to do my work.
I also would like to thank Suzy, Beatrix, Honey, Cinnamon, Johnny & Baby Charlie (AKA The Fun Loving Family). The FLF sent me a wonderful care package that included a pink fur (I think it may be cat fur, but I’m not sure) wrap, matching hat and pink blingee accessories, a red tutu dress and a whole poodle hair kit with beautiful barrettes and pink heart hair comb. I was so excited to find out that both Suzy and Beatrix have the red tutu dress as well; we all get to be twinsies! I bet no-pup will be able to tell us apart?!
I just want to thank my wonderful friends; Thank you!
Pacey
