Thoughts from Dr. Bo......

a padangler

Mum noticed that I was freaked out and acting odd this morning. I would take a couple steps then quickly sit down and check my behind.

Mum was hoping she knew what was going on. She grabbed paper towels and came towards me. I wasn't sure what she was doing, so I wasn't cooperating too much.

Turns out Mum was right - I had a padangler. Once it was removed, I was still cautious and kept checking my bottom for a little while.

All is well now and the day can proceed as usual!

keeping me busy

With the pack the size it is, they keep me very busy with my doctoring duties. Lately I have had:

* Addison's itchy spot right above her tail to tend
* Bodhi's boo boos on his face from Levi
* Levi's nasty tears on his face and the skin tear on his front leg
* Molly and Sandy's ears

Yup - a good "clean-em-up" dog always has work that needs to be done!

being snippy

I've been a bit snippy lately. Mostly with Bodhi, but with Tanner, too. I will be laying quietly on my pillows pretending not to be watching what is going on. Suddenly, without warning, I run growling and grab whatever Bodhi or Tanner are playing with and take it for my own.

Last night I got snippy with Bodhi when he was cuddling with Dad on the couch. Mum came over and let me know that she wasn't going to tollerate my attitude. I let her know (via growling) that I didn't agree with her. That wasn't my most intellient move. She's really cracking down on me now. Sez I need an attitude adjustment.

Mum mentioned watching more Ceasan Milan to see what she can do for a dog that excites easily. I think I'm perfect the way I am - we'll see what comes of this.
