Life in the mountains

I had a very nice day....

thankyouverymuch!

After finding out I was a diary pick for the day, I felt that I deserved more than just a jog around the yard. So, Bo Cephus and I ran right through the electric fence and went for a 1 1/2 tour of the area that included a dip in the lake (a bit cold so early in the morning.)

We met back up with Dad as he was on the other side of the lake. We heard his truck and ran out to meet him. Bo and I jumped right into the truck on mum's side. (Note to mum - you might want to have a blanket with you the next time you need to sit on that seat! BOL)

Collars have been tighted AGAIN and this will most likely curtail our patroling of the area outside of our zone.....bummer!

After spending the afternoon in the bedroom with Addison, we were sprung for our afternoon play time. Once back in the bedroom, pig ears awaited us - just me and Addison - alone with nobody else there to try and steal them from us.

I'm back running in the yard right now. I've heard rumors of some ice cream later tonight.

Thanks to all my pals that sent me notes/zealies today. You sure do know how to make a doggie feel loved.

Well, it seems that I'm the bottom diary pick of the day! I still find that to be an honor - thank you dogster HQ!

I'm out right now for my morning stretch and run around the yard. I'm hoping that with being a diary pick, that this will turn out to be an amazing day!

short lived freedom

Mum took my shock collar off because it was rubbing on the open wound on my chest from Bodhi. She thought it would iritate the wound more.

I didn't realize until this morning that I didn't have my collar on. Dad found me out behind the garage. He called me and I came back to him. Dad thought about putting my collar back on me, but didn't. MISTAKE! I took off for the lake and Bo Cephus ran the electric fence and followed me.

We were gone for a couple of hours having a grand time! We swam in the lake and checked out all the surrounding area. When we were good and tired, we came back home. We're exhausted now. Will probably sleep the rest of the day!

Freedom is great even if only short lived.

PS - I have my shock collar back on AND Bo's has been tightened!
