Arrival Story:
She was set to be put down at the pound. Literally next in line. Some kind people from the rescue group I volunteer with removed her from that situation and she was brought to an adoption event until we could figure out what to do with her. I took one look at her and knew she was coming home with me. I tried to talk myself out of it, but I didn't talk real long.

Bio:
Iris is named for the Roman diety who links the Earth and heaven. The personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods. She has a few lingering bald spots from her previous hairloss, due to poor nutrition and lack of care. Neglect basically, but she is looking very beautiful now. She has taken over the house. 15 minutes of sleep 5 hours of play at top speed. She gets along with everyone but thinks chasing the cats is fun and the big dogs aren't quite sure how to play with her yet. She picks things up really quickly, she tries to be sneaky when she wants to get away with something she knows she's going to be stopped at. She is learning obedience skills, but its tricky getting her to sit still long enough to link the action and the command.
