I am in Heaven!

On Monday, April 4 (2011) I was feeling fine! I ate my breakfast and went outside with Mommy and Kodie, Holly & Nico. The rest of the morning I just relaxed and followed Mommy around (as usual). We watched "Price Is Right" as always while Mommy & Daddy ate their lunch. In the afternoon I began to breathe heavy...but still felt fine. However, I didn't want my supper...Mommy gave me bologna---my favorite!! I went outside and did "my business", walked around and then came in and "helped" Mommy with fixing their supper (translation: I wait for her to drop some food!). We "sweetiepies" relaxed on our pillows while they ate....my breathing was still heavy. While Mommy watched "Jeopardy", I was in her lap but I wanted down so she put me on my pillow between her & Daddy. The last thing I remember was Mommy petting me and I heard her say, "I love you, Morgan." All of a sudden I felt like I was floating above them....Mommy was screaming and crying and holding me....Daddy was trying to hold her. And then I was in Heaven! I love it here (green grass and flowers again!) and it is fun to meet Mommy's former doggies....Tiny, Lad, Cindy, Jody, and Toby. And of course, all of Aunt Nancy's pets who live here now. But I hope that Mommy feels better soon...she has cried herself sick. I know that she knows that I am in Heaven and that I am waiting for her. I can hardly wait! I miss you, Mommy!

I am so happy to be home and NO TOOTHIE ACHE!!! Mommy & Daddy (who was sick too--went to the hospital while I was having my surgery) took me to the vet Friday morning at 9:30. On the way Mommy kept talking to me and telling me that I was going to be feeling MUCH BETTER soon! She also told me things like how much she loves me...I know that! I was upset when Mommy left!! She could hear me howling in the waiting room! I feel guilty about that now--she was having such a hard time herself! It wasn't long until I was asleep...when I woke up, my mouth felt funny! Oh, no, I lost some teeth during that surgery!! I've heard of "gummy bears" but never a "gummy Maltese"!! I felt TERRIBLE!!! But at 5:00 they brought me out...and there was Mommy! Daddy was asleep in the car! I was so happy to see them!

Mommy held me all last night and spoiled me even more than I am (yep, I admit it--gotta be honest!).

I felt good this morning--but sure don't like the medicine. YUCK!!

I don't suppose this was a "get well, Morgan" present (if so, I want to ask for a return) but a lady brought a KITTEN to our home today and gave her to Mommy & Daddy! TWO kittens now!! Be sure to check out Yasha's & Gilda's (that's the new kitty) pages on Catster. If I could talk, I would tell Mommy and Daddy, "NO MORE DOGS OR CATS!!!"

MOST OF ALL, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS, CANDLES AND ROSETTES!!! I feel SO LOVED!!! And I KNOW that prayer is what brought me through!!! SO THANK YOU to all who wrote or send me prayers etc. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! Dogster rules!!! The Power of the Paw!!! DOGSTER dogs are the best pals ever!!

I went to the vet today!

Hi, everyone...Mommy took me for my vet appt. today. It seemed strange to be going to a new vet! I guess it's too far to go to "my" Dr. Joe in Cincinnati. Ever since I had that seizure, I have been feeling so bad. The vet said that I have a bad heart...that it is making a "swishy" sound. And oh, no, I have a couple infected teeth that must come out...or I will get worse. Mommy said that she has no choice so I will be having that done next Friday. I am a little trouper and I know that everyone will be praying for me....so I will just rest for the next week and get strong!! Meanwhile, I am being spoiled by Mommy!!

Thank you, everyone!! I love you all and please continue to pray for me...and for Mommy!!

Getting back to normal!!

Dear dear pals!!

Thank you for ALL the prayers and POTP and candle!!! I cannot thank you enough!! I am feeling better today---I ate good today!! I am going up and down the steps and jumping up on the sofa and wagging my tail! Mommy says that she is spoiling me---she holds me alot!! But I deserve it!! After all, I am her little sweetiepie!!

Again thank you for all the prayers!! I love you!!! And send bunches of kisses!! You know how Malteses are the dogs of "a million kisses"?? Well, here are a million kisses going YOUR way!!

Hi, friends.....I FEEL SO LOVED!!!!! Thank you so much for all your prayers and good wishes!! And guess what? I am feeling better!!! I ate my supper (I only ate a few bites of my oatmeal this morning) and tonight I am wagging my tail!! I don't know what was the matter....Daddy was sick over the weekend. Can doggies catch something from humans? I guess I better tell everyone to "wash your hands" before petting me---BOL!!

But I sure wasn't feeling good....Sunday night I didn't even wake up when Mommy came home from church. All of a sudden I kept hearing her call my name and she was kneeling beside me. It was a "where am I?" moment....strange. I ALWAYS run to meet Mommy when she comes home. I have just been laying in Mommy's lap---wrapped up in a blanket.

I will close for now...but I will keep you posted. Again THANK YOU, DEAR FRIENDS!! I am feeling better!! More like my "sweetiepie" self--hee-hee!!

A new brother!!!

Hi, everybody!!

Guess what? I have a new brother, Jack!! As you know, we live out on the Navajo Nation now and last Monday a STARVING stray (he must have heard about the Sweetiepies' Tea Shop) came to our home! Well, you know Mommy!!! Of course, she & Daddy took him in!!

Of course, I was very welcoming to him....unlike a certain other Maltese that I know (hint: his name is Nico)! Holly & Kodie liked him from the beginning! But now Nico is his buddy--they even share a pillow!

Anyway, Jack is anxious to have as many friends as me (little does he know that it will never happen---hate to brag but us little dogs are CUTE AND LOVABLE!...what was THAT? Kodie just growled at me!! The nerve...) but please do me a favor and write the big guy. He will love it!! He has had a rough life and deserves all the love in the world!

We are living in New Mexico!!!

Well, since I am the alpha dog in this family, I won the right to tell our news! We have moved to New Mexico!! We are living in Newcomb, NM--on the Navajo reservation!

We had a great trip out--me, Nico, Holly & Kodie had the whole back seat to ourselves. Mommy & Daddy stopped often at roadside parks to walk us, of course.

And then we were in New Mexico!! It sure is hot here but the mornings and nights are so cool!! We look out at the mountains in the back and at the desert/rock formations in the front. Mommy watches us careful....we don't want to meet any wild critters!! We live on an acre & a half---and we see sheep going through our back field (they belong to the neighbors).

Mommy is taking pictures so we will update our page soon!!

Happy Summer!!

Hi, my friends!

Nico & Holly wrote a diary entry and now it is my turn. The problem is that they told all the news!! NEXT TIME I GO FIRST!!!!

I was happy....my next vet visit is in September so I didn't have to go with Nico & Holly this summer!! It's been a fun summer.....we love being outside but also love being inside too!! We especially love the evenings....sitting on the couch with Mommy & Daddy!! We don't always understand what they are saying on Fox News....so we are glad when they switch to Animal Planet!!

It's just been a lazy summer.....playing and relaxing!! I wuv you all!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well, I can hardly believe that it's been so long since I was on Dogster!! ALOT has been happening in our family's life!!!! Hope that you all had a great Christmas and New Year's celebrations--we sure did!!

First of all, we (me, Nico and Holly) got a Daddy!! Yep, Mommy got married on November 22, 2008!! We adore Daddy Wil!!! Daddy is a Navajo (Native American) and is from New Mexico---although he has lived in California for the past 20 years. Mommy & Daddy are so happy!! Pssst....let me tell you a little secret: Mommy & Daddy used to be married many years ago (long before "our time"!) but got something called a "divorce"....then they got reacquainted this year and realized that they still loved each other after all these years! And got married again!!

So that's why we haven't been on Dogster for awhile---Mommy is working full-time at the school library and plus getting married....she has been so busy!!! So please forgive us and don't give up on us!!!!!!!!!
We told Mommy that our New Year's Resolution is to get back on Dogster more!!!!

I AM THE STAFU DOG OF THE MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER!!!!

Hi, everyone!!!

I am just so overwhelmed with emotion---I feel so honored and yet so humbled!!! I am the STAFU Dog of the Month for September!!!!! There are so many WONDERFUL dogs in STAFU.....and for me to be picked for this honor.....well, I feel so undeserving (sniff, sniff). But I just hope that I can live up to this great honor.

To all my pals at STAFU: THANK YOU SO VERY, VERY MUCH!!!!! You are the greatest!!!!!

It's been a wonderful summer.....I can hardly believe that at the beginning of the summer (June), I got my new brother, Nico!!!! And then at the end of summer (August), we both got a little sister, Holly!!! We really love each other and have a great time each day!!

And now here it is September.....I LOVE FALL!!! The cooler temperatures, the leaves turning colors.....oh, boy!!! Hope you all enjoy the Fall!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
